You would need to build it using quarter round to hold the glass in, instead of building the glass into the door. It doesn't look AS nice, but will let you replace the glass. However this IS tempered glass so breaking it is REALLY hard. You could even stand on the glass if its flat and it won't break.
At that point, u can trench around the broken glass on the inner side with a router to free the broken glass, then cut some beading, replace the glass and fit the beading in.. ;)
Thank you for simple, useful instructions and for being sparing with viewers' time.
New sub!
What a great video to watch. Simply and to the point. Thank you.
Do you have some basic measurements for the wood members?
That was lovely. I would have liked to see it stained and installed. I love everything about cider. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for your presentation. How can I replace the glass if the glass is broken?
Ha ha ha 🤩🤩🤩
You can't. At least it's tempered

What needs to be taken into consideration when cutting the wood and not having it warp? Also, what is the final dimensions for this build?
in love! great job.
Fantastic and so simple. Thank you sir!!!
Nice one, I will try this too 🤩
Thanx for your skilled info
How wide was that door
Nice one, but what if any glass will broken, how to repair? for me it seems difficult in this case
The whole video is just click-bait.
How did you change a broaken glass
Looks great, but what happens if you need to replace a peace of glass , with no beading it’s not possible
You buy a new door😅
Brilliant 🤩
This is amazing
What's the correct way to size this for the existing opening and seal the edges when closed to minimize heat loss?
what happens if a window breaks?
Suppose in the course of history one of the glass panes breaks? Would there be a way of repair?
No
Really easy, but it would be a nightmare to replace one or more broken glasses...
had the same issue, how in the world would u change a broken glass?
@@702179 you’d have to remove enough material from the rails and stiles to remove the glass and then patch up the door after replacement
you could replace it and change the style of the door slightly to install small bullnose trim to hold the glass in place. Just a hack I thought of
Quick and easy.
Very nice job but if the glass broken for any reason how we can change it there is no removable frame
With all my respect
I was thinking the same thing. Easy to build but replacing a glass would be difficult.

Your splines would be so much stronger if their grain was perpendicular to the joints and not parallel to them.
Woodglut has a lot of designs to choose from.
