Kaushal sir, i'm a Computer scientist myself i work for adobe as computer scientist. I always had respect for forces and even wanted to join Airforce but my poor vision didn't help. I always used to think that our forces are far behing in tech and covert comms but someone from the same domain as todays esteemed guest on your podcast, my perception towards our forces has changed. Trust me sir, Colonal sir has not even told the 10% thats possible with networks. Its wild wild When non tech people get know what is possible when someone wants to watch you. I've myself been on the forefront when the whole cloundfront and cloudstrike fiasco happened, it was literally for me like being in the trenches, i was in the office till 4:30 in the morning those days. It's great to finally see someone from my Grandfather's unit, he retd as Major from Signals(He joined Indian Army at age 14). My dad's ex-IAF, currently in NTRO, so we knew all about Migs and UAVs, but never knew what signals actually did. But it seems it's a very important part to setup the communication lines during war. My grandad fought during '62, '65, '71. If he were alive now, I'd have made him see this, he would be happy. Due to my grandad's influence, 99% of the engineers in my family are from Electronics and Communication background except me (Mechanical 😂).

I believe that the Kargil war was won because of the bravery of every single soldier, both decorated ones and the unsung heroes, despite the bad shoes and inclement conditions. Bravery unparalleled. I really appreciate col subhajeet naha knowledge and service , and i really knows their are many in this field of cyber warfare in indian army , but then i fear that now also we are not capable enough in terms of cyber warfare,i am a kid of army jawan and when i used to go to canteen their all they used is Chinese based point of sale (POS) system, also most of camera which army used for surveillance near army area is itself china made , if our defense is not strong how can we even imagine to attack or prospers in attack, i know we lack in semiconductor making but still we really need security of army area.

Great to hear that retired defence personnel works in psu's and help grow India. I remember my father who is retired from IAF joined banking industry told me that once d subbarao a governor of RBI said that defence veterans working in banks are blessing for indian economy. This is a great thing because the r&d in Indian army learns from their own experiments and helps other organisations to grow.

The Corps of Signals was established on February 15, 1911 by Lieutenant Colonel S H Powell. It has participated in all of the Indian Army's wars, including World War I and World War II.

The Corps of Signals provides the Indian Army with communications for both peacetime and combat operations. It also supports the Indian Army with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) across the country.

The Corps of Signals' motto is "Teevra Chaukas", which translates to "Swift and Sure".

I really appreciate col subhajeet naha knowledge and service , and i really knows their are many in this field of cyber warfare in indian army , but then i fear that now also we are not capable enough in terms of cyber warfare,i am a kid of army jawan and when i used to go to canteen their all they used is Chinese based point of sale (POS) system, also most of camera which army used for surveillance near army area is itself china made , if our defense is not strong how can we even imagine to attack or prospers in attack, i know we lack in semiconductor making but still we really need security of army area.

Great to hear that retired defence personnel works in psu's and help grow India. I remember my father who is retired from IAF joined banking industry told me that once d subbarao a governor of RBI said that defence veterans working in banks are blessing for indian economy. This is a great thing because the r&d in Indian army learns from their own experiments and helps other organisations to grow.
