Created an orchestral version of Beyoncé’s ‘Standing On The Sun’ for a trailer I edited for ‘The Lion King’ as a showcase of my editing skills (and also a plea for Beyoncé to hire me!). You guys asked for the full version, so - here you go!
Thank you for all of the kind words. I’ve been so excited for The Lion King ever since it was apparent they’d eventually be remaking one!
Some of you guys seem to misunderstand. This is a 'FAN MADE' composition I made of Beyoncé's 'Standing On The Sun' in style of The Lion King for a TV spot I edited for fun, for the film. So please, take all of your anger towards me and this somewhere else. I made this with nothing but good intentions as a tribute to Bey, and to help others get excited for the release next week. Geez.
Also - to clarify - this isn't a mashup! :) I composed this originally from scratch as an orchestral arrangement. Thanks for the love! - Jimir.
