Love the channel and your content. Please keep up the great work of making these places known. How does one get involved with a ride with the Beaten Trail? I have a 900 Trail as well, and love riding with my younger son. We are a little south of Cleveland but have ridden HMT and Mines & Medows so far. I have a list of destinations I would like to try but as you said, its always better to ride with someone else. Its tough finding someone that like to ride "reasonable" and legal.
Yes, well, Wellsville is more difficult stuff, BFR I have not been to, but they do monthly riding weekends/days, check it out, Mt Ridge might be not much of a ride...and the Potter ATV Regional connector trail with whiskey springs and bloody skillet might be worth the trip, if you RV or hotel it. We try and post when and where we ride, but scheduling has been a challenge and getting the group together as well, so we will continue to post here and on FB when we have official group rides...sometimes its just a ride for some b roll and not really worth your drive to meet up with us, but we will ride soon! Thanks for watching, sharing and commenting!
Thank you glad you enjoyed it. Most of the land around anthracite outdoor adventure area are either outlaw trails or famous reading outdoors. Many of the properties are adjacent and then there’s some state land as well so we’ve been all around in those woods over the years, so yes, some good trails out there, just have to watch out for state land and private property.
Well, yes, but it varies by park. The state land I was referring to was not ATV/SXS accessible, permitted. The state lands DCNR trails where SXS/ATV, which we have a few videos for have different width restrictions) Bloody Skilley, Whiskey Springs 64", SSRT ($20 by permit) is 70", some others are 50" only (Michaux) and other a variation (Dixon miller 58", East Kettle, Burnt mills, etc etc) A hodge-podge sadly of sizes and limits weight and width, class 1, etc. PA is a mess. lol
I just picked up a used 21 RZR Trail 900 - where do you find people to ride with? Do you just show up and find a group at the trailhead? Or is there a message board? I'm not far from SSRT, FRO and AOAA - as I'm in Union County, PA. Would love to find people to ride with. Love your videos too!!
Well, I would say that there are Facebook message boards for each of the places that you mentioned and you can post on there typically say hey I’m gonna go out here on Saturday. This is what I’m driving anybody want to join me or can I join is typically what is best, you can go to AAA and get a daily pass. Otherwise take a tour at famous Reading to try it out. You can sign up on their website. We will post when we do group rides but I haven’t had one in a while so stay tuned.
