@@jannyj9850 I've never heard of anyone getting things from dumpsters in the UK. I know in Scotland we have problems with the young ones setting bins on fire so they now have lock ups so that could be a reason. I'm not sure tho to be honest. I would love to see some Scottish dives 😁

This is true but old perfume or perfume of any kind will get marker off the BEST. Just spray and wipe quick so the smell doesnt absorb in too much. Works the best. My mom has been doing this for years.

finger nail polish remover, sometimes will remove permanent marker off....on hard stuff....and sometimes on material....but, you can not leave it on....has to be washed out fairly quickly....

Try using 100% acetone nail polish remover on the plates... The sharpie will come off with no problem... The nail polish remover will take permanent marker out of anything metal, plastic, glass

You know before it’s offered to places like a Battered wife’s unit who leave with nothing or maybe a children’s home places like that .. they would rather throw it away.. it’s terrible.. just dump it in skip/ bin .. they should be shown up. Mineral spirits and extra fine steel wool will remove any paint or marker from items. I’ve had excellent results with using this formula to remove red spray paint from BBB and sharpie markers
All those clothes, so many in need, they couldn’t donate it to a shelter or something, instead they would rather it goes to a landfill, it’s just sickening! 😔. Love your videos!

Sharpy can be spray painted and if you want to remove it or take most of it off, use Krud Kutter from Menards. That stuff is bio safe and you can dilute it.
if you donate some of your finds...i know at the nursing home i lve we love getting yarn. so many craft or activites. nursing home dont budget much for activities.
It's disgusting all those thrown away what's wrong with these shops they must loose a lot of money or ihey have to much and they don't care. I would say they should give them to charity but then they throw them away or rhey charge to much. As well the same over here in the UK. Why don't they give them to woman's shelter or something like that.. well least u saved them from going to landfil.

Why dont you use fabric totes u wouldnt have to make so many trip for small stuff. And u can carry the totes in your pocket till u need them.
