Slept 2 hours working on algo homework but can't sleep when new blade bias is imminent
Can confirm the trainer is also a amazing flipping experience. Fans beautifully and has a wonderful balance and weight. Ldy absolutely killed it on this one.

I have both the orion and a comb orion, and an orion 1.5 trainer
Honestly, I think the 1.5 trainer is my LEAST favorite. BARELY. I do prefer a touch more handle bias, though, and I'm sure about the live blade version.
The new orions look fantastic though and the value proposition is unbeatable
I'm super excited. I have one on the way. For a live blade, that apparently performs so well? Steeeeal!!!!!

Dude you have gotten so much better at flipping. The flow and just the style is so clean now. For 85 dollars i will say ldy did a fantastic job with this one. What I want ldy to do is make this design with ti handles so bad. I think it would be a fantastic ti balisong.

From what Jack described the trainer Orion v1.5 it seems to be fairly similar live vs trainer Orion v1.5.
And the weights that only work on the trainer blade fyi seem to be to get the old Orion V1 weight/ balance so really with the v1.5 we don't lose anything 🙂
Strange to me that the weights "only work with the trainer blade" even though they sit on the opposite side of the entire build
@@BladeBias from what was explained the live blade is longer than the trainer so it hits the weight on whatever side the tip is at when closed.
Unfortunately the adjustable weight is just an extra pin that makes no difference in the bottom of the handles 😂 I’m excited to get that blade for mine now!

I have been waiting for them to drop some live blades, but I might just go ahead and get a trainer now, and live blade later, because it just looks so good. And I want to get some of those now Cygnus channel spacers, the weight system looks pretty cool

I have question… i am either going to buy the nabalis vulp or the marcolo comet but i dont know which one is better because i never had the chance to flip one of these. They both cost 80€ in germany so there is no difference but i have been told that the vulp flips better (i dont care id i can tune it or not) please help meeeee :)
never tried the other one but the vulp is fantastic. it helps you a lot on learning tuning processes and feels great if you pay about 8 dollars on getting a v2 hardware. i live in europe too and i have the vulp too!

@@Veve19372 when you start learning tricks and become almost a intermediate flipper get the v2 hardware and don’t forget to separate each hardware cuz the v2 is better and u can’t distinguish
