PM made it so hard to guess who would win in a fight because of how "particular" some fights are in Limbus. The Papa Quixote we fight is massovely weakened after 200 years of starvation, being tortured on top of the golden bough weakening him, and the fact that he was restrained for 200 years straight meaning his skills were probably rusty as well. The closest boss we get to fight on his level (that isn't massively weakened) is Ricardo, and even then he's literally just playing with the sinners the entire time and doesnt take the fight seriously at all. Yet he gets completely embarrassed by Indigo Old Dude.
I imagine project moon does this on purpose to avoid future contradiction with the power levels, I usually just make guesses of power based off what I believe project moon wants people to infer. I’m assuming Ricardo is grade 1 level, but I don’t think he’s upper grade 1, he’s likely on par with a Capo of the Thumb since his position as big brother seems similar to a Capo just by comparison. Considering how strong a Capo is (lower grade 1) it makes sense why a color Could easily take down one. Also anyone in Limbus who’s clashes zoom through (like Ricardo’s, Vergelius, Sancho’s) are likely Grade 1 level, and it’s probably PM’s way of showing that they ARE that strong.
People saying the number of coin power means anything when comparing Don Quixote and Vergilus needs to look at Ricardo, that guy was taking it easy against the sinners and used skills that are very bad, following this it isn't very difficult to imagine that the non-starving Bloodfiends, specially Don Quixote considering he was getting nerfed by the Golden Bough, would have better skills. Vergillius is strong, but I think those coin rolls are inflated for the purpose of clearing out enemies fast in his stage, and not the real numbers. From my understanding, a fed first kindred is probably just below a colour in strength level - I don’t think the real Vergillius could take on one 1st kindred and two 2nd kindred at once
