My Shih Tzu, Buster's coat is so soft it is like silk. He also changed color as he got older. He was black and white and the black areas of his coat are now a darker gray. My first Shih Tzu's coat was more coarse. He was black white and red as a pup and as he got older his black spot around his eye turned a very light gray. I love the breed they are full of love and personality. Gary is a sweetheart!❤
I love watching folks clean! I enjoyed watching you iron yesterday, too. I do hope you feel better. When you aren’t feeling well, a cup of tea, a blanket, a pup or kitty ( or both), and a good book are the ticket. I really like your mugs. They are very expensive to purchase in the US. Wow I love Megs crocheting so talented she’ll be having her own channel soon 😂 After watching you on Thursday I thought oh I think maybe I should do some housework as well as I’ve neglected the house a bit over the summer other than the bits you do everyday so that’s what I spent yesterday doing as well !! Boring but worth it! 😂😂 xx
I iron my tea towels too, meant to be good for killing any germs remaining after washing (important when you don't do a hot wash) and they are nicer folded in the drawer or airing cupboard! LOL

I was up at 5am 3 lots of washing on the line by 7 am knacked by 8 am so coffee out on the patio in my fleece with few rows of knitting before dog walking It was chilly night in Norwich that’s what woke me up & changed summer duvet bet it’s hot flushes tonight 😤😤😤😤😤😤

I iron all my tea towels and my pillow cases. I love to iron and I can really tell a difference in things. I love your iron that you use too. It puts off so much steam. Looked it up but don't think we can get that one in the states 🥲Hope you get to feeling better with your cold and whooping cough. My grandson had it too and it is so miserable so I know how awful you are feeling with it.
I always iron my tea towels. I love seeing them hang on the rail before use. I must admit I don’t know anyone else who irons theirs, not even my Dutch MiL who was a staunch folder!
My black shih tzu was like black velvet when he was a pup but as he got older he was turning grey like Gary. I did find though that his fur was soft then once he started to get groomed properly it turned coarser. They are such a lovely breed though full of mischief and mayhem x
Oh Paula, it's ok that you iron your towels, I just wondered why - since it's a chore that takes up valuable crafting time and I personally don't mind wrinkles in my towels. :) However, I take my laundry directly out of the dryer and fold them, so no wrinkles, but I'm guess you maybe hang your clothes to dry? Whatever, doesn't matter. Gary is the sweetest, makes me want to get a Shit-zoo (I know that's not how you spell it, just don't want to bother looking it up). You are an excellent pet keeper!!
I used to iron everything! Pillowcases, tea towels, t-shirts-everything! I sustained a back injury in 2012 and have been in constant pain ever since. Unfortunately, I can’t iron anything but the minimum. I used to get my best thinking done while ironing. It also makes everything look and smell better.

I got my Shih Tzu when he was 2 and he's 5 yo now. He's a rescue. He's still as soft as ever! His name is Tobi and he's tan, and is the sweetest dog.❤

I have a dog like yours and he has stayed fairly soft and he is 9. When he gets shaved he feels like velvet.
