I'm so excited... You mentioned vlogmas! I loved watching yours last year so I'm very happy to hear you're thinking about doing it again 👏👏 Thanks for another marvellous episode. Your son was very cute and very happy with his squid 🐙👏😊
Thank you, dear Anne, for your podcast! I allways like to read your informations. Best wishes for you and greatings to Samuel and his amazing squid❤ Anneliese
I alway enjoy your podcast so much and your little boy is so adorable. I still remember when my own boy was young like that, but he is now all grown up with a boy of his own. My son is 55 now and my grandson is 21, time just flys past so quickly. So good to enjoy the children while you still have them at home.
Thank you so much! Yes, time really flies. My oldest turned 18 this year. Luckily he will live at home while studying. So I will have him home for a few more years. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Ah, your son is adorable! I love how the children in Norway (and Danmark, maybe the whole of Scandinavia) learn English at a young age, he has no problems communicating in English. I enjoyed this episode very much, so thank you! Wishing you the best with your health issues 💜
Thank you so much🥰 Yes, it is really wonderful that they learn english early on. Samuel actually almost knows more english then Norweigan 😅 Wishing you a wonderful weekend☕️🧶
A lovely episode, Anne. Thank you. You look so lovley in your vest ( like 'a spring chicken' as we say in Australia😉) and your son is a natural in front of the camera. What a good feeling you must have knowing he loves your knits so much. Have a lovely weekend, young lady.🙏❤🌏🐨🍃xx
Thank you so much 🥰 He loves taking to the camera. So he will be very happy when I tell him you said that. His dream is of course to be a you tuber😂 Have a wonderful weekend❤️☕️🧶
It was very nice to see your son, Samuel and his colossal squid. My grandson also loves his handmade stuffies that I make for him. When I have too many things to do I get the "brain fog" and will make silly mistakes that I don't notice until I go to work on the project again and then realize what I did. We all do it, so do not be too hard with yourself, you are a very talented knitter and cake decorator.
I think your Lulu slipover is lovely as it is. I could not see a problem ... I think the dark yarn is hiding it : ) I love the squid, it is fantastic and I really like the yarn you dyed red; what a great colour!
Love your Lulu slipover, Anne. I think it looks lovely on you but I do hear you about the neck/collar area. Perhaps folding it over and making a double layered collar would feel better? This type of garment is something I don't have in my wardrobe yet but seems so versatile. I agree with you about knitting flat. It is a labor of love for sure! The squid is adorable and so is your son!!! I think my daughters would love something like that in their stuffed animal collection.
Thank you, Sarah! Yes! I think if I ever get around to knitting another Lulu slipover I will knit the collar longer and fold it as you suggest. I think that will look better:) Hope you and your family are well and have a great weekend!
I love your squid! I want to make one for me now! I don't know if my daughter would be interested, but I have nephews that sure will! I'm sorry that you don't feel so well, I hope it passes soon. Take a lot of rest, best wishes.
Your son is adorable and knowledgeable! I also have a 9-year-old son and he loves turtles. I think your vest looks very nice. I wonder if you could tighten up the neck a little with some elastic. I can't wait to see your progress on your husband's sweater in the next video.❤🧶
I wonder if button placement might change the 1st garment shape? Maybe just temporarily pin in different spots to see if that helps. She only has one button and back is longer which looks like button placement and that might even raise the front neckline? Worth a try? I enjoyed the video, my grandson would love the squid but…..he’s nearly 12 and we’re trying t cut down on the many, many stuffies he already has. 🫣 Maybe I’ll make him the little frog everyone was making or a support chicken. 🐸🐓🙋🏼♀️
I think Samuel is a zoologist in the making…move over David Attenborough ☺️😉 Thanks for your lovely, gentle company Anne. Your makes are always so beautiful (& bountiful!). I don’t think I would’ve noticed the neckline of your Lulu if you hadn’t pointed it out. I wonder if it’s because of the drape of the fabric, due to the presence of alpaca? I have a cardigan that’s a wool/alpaca blend and it doesn’t hold firm either. If it really bothers you, perhaps you could reknit the collar with the Peer Gynt and a Mohair instead? It looks just lovely as it is though 😍 Lastly, my understanding of a compound raglan is that it’s a raglan where you work the sleeve and body increases at different rates. So rather than getting a straight line, you get a curved line instead, more like an S. I hope that’s right?! I’m sure someone will correct me if not🤞There’s always so much to learn in knitting! Ax
Thank you🥰 Samuel do love animals. Dinosaurs and seacreatures are his favourites. He knows so much😅 Yes, maybe it could be the alpaca. I had not thought of that. Thank you😊 Ahh, that is a compund raglan. That makes sense. Yes, so much to learn. I love it!😊 Hope you have a wonderful weekend☕️🧶
Oh my gosh your son is adorable!!! The squid is lovely, I am definitely inspired now! I knit my little one the Lulu junior and I can barely fit it over her head - I dont know what's wrong with the pattern
Thank you so much! That is annoying that the Lulu slipover didn't fit. Can you frog back the neck and pick up more stitches or is the neckhole to small? Hope you have a great weekend!
I think you perhaps need a couple of short rows on the front under the neckline of your Lulu Slipover if it bothers you. That would bring it up a bit I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't said it looked like it is pulling down, but now that you mention it, I can slightly see it. I don't think it looks funny though. I think it looks really good on you. I have that pattern in my favourites and am hoping to make it this winter.
Thank you so much! Short rows is a great tip. Thank you. I think I will leave the neck for now. Hopefully I will not care to much about it. Cause overall I do really like it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you so much 🥰 I really understand the cutting down the number of stuffies😅 The 9yr old have so many. His bed is a nightmare to change because all his stuffies live there😂 Hope you have a wonderful weekend ☕️🧶
