Hello and you are welcome my friend. In this 10th generation Corolla there are 2 types of instrument cluster: a. Vehicles with Optitron type meters (like mine) b. Vehicles with non-Optitron type meters Now if you want to change and put 1 of the 2 types then you have to check if the wiring harnesses are the same, i.e. they have to fit each other
My Corolla is 10th generation year 2013 xli 1.6 manual and I was thinking of changing to the manual gli meter of the same year. My gauge only has odometer, temperature and fuel.
Dude, if you change the whole instrument cluster with a used one, for example, like I did in this video, then your mileage will not show on that instrument cluster odometer, but the mileage from the used odometer

Δεν ξέρω αν τα καταφέρω, γιατί όλες αυτές οι λυχνίες είναι μικροσκοπικές (γύρω στα 3 χιλιοστά) και είναι κολλημένες με καλάι. Δεν θέλω σε καμία περίπτωση να κάνω ζημιά. Αυτή η προσπάθεια θέλει πολύ μελέτη, κατάλληλα εργαλεία και βέβαια να βρω αυτές τις λυχνίες, οι οποίες σπανίζουν.

Hello there. The speedometer light bulbs are located around the 2 instruments of the cluster and are too many. Do you want to change the color of these bulbs?
@@YiannisPagonis are they the little white squares that are placed in a circle pattern? if so how would someone go about replacing them? I want to make the lights blue or white instead of orange
@@YiannisPagonis yes unfortunately they cannot just be easily replaced like other cars, however it is possible you just have to solder the bulbs there is a detailed guide in the Toyota forums
