Pretty excited, because i finally join Stormgate tomorrow. Haven't played any RTS since Early SC2 Legacy of the Void, so i am curious how it will go. Seems super fun to play competitive like SC2 back in the days :)
It’s been fun! Although sometimes frustrating with the imbalance of Celestials as a Vanguard main. They can get Kri very early and even after the nerf they’re hard to defend against. Also their runby potential is insane. You have to commit a large portion of your army to defend against any runby and they can attack elsewhere at the same time with their ranged units
great casting farm man! I too, am super hopeful and excited for the future of stormgate. I have really enjoyed watching your casts, and am excited to be able to get my hands on it finally tomorrow! it was also nice to see mana lose, not because I dislike him, but because it just shows interesting strategies that worked against very strong players, which makes for a very enjoyable viewing experience! cheers, my friend.
Great to see more stormgate. It would be great to have some more tools observing, being able to see the income numbers would be fantastic. Every couple of minutes just saying who's ahead on economy army and tech would be really useful for the average listener.
When I saw the Spriggan I thought 'You make a few of these and send them to hit your opponents strongest units to debuff them during a large engagement', but people either never built them or built a lot and tried to base harass. Here I'm seeing them used the way I initially thought and wow it makes a big difference!
Vectors are such trash and I havent even played the game yet Whoevers idea it was to give a Toss-like race a Muta-like unit, filling a Vulture-like role, that can move and shoot like a Phoenix, and Blink like a Stalker, that can be on the field and blinking in sub 4 minutes... Thats just crazy and they need to be fired immediately so they can get professional help.
That's coming from someone that doesn't know how the unit pop values work. It varies a lot more than in SC2, medium units can cost like 5 pop for example. But it does a good job of making sure that workers aren't half of your army. And the slower pace of the game ensures it's not just a big damage ball. In Aoe2 everything is 1 pop, so armies are massive in comparison.
@@cheenouthao9458 They don't clump up nearly as much as in SC2 where everything amassed to a tiny blob to be wiped out by splash damage. I like this approach better.

@@tictacterminator No, that's just your limited RTS knowledge speaking. Workers don't have to be crippling limitations beyond their initial cost. Not every RTS has to do it in the same way. For example, in the C&C series or BAR there is no population, so workers don't take up anything.
Maybe. But I do think that the players are stuck in a one track mentality. Like Ardent + Kri can only get you so far. I don't see some units nearly as much like the Saber, and it's strong in my experience. The generators can power up casters like the Animancer to crush armies while defending.
12:23 - The fact that we can now have air battles where you can mace a dragon in the face makes me happier than it probably should.

It's been fun since I joined for EA. Game is simple but hard to master.

Thank you Farm Man I hope you get super big casting these amazing stormgate games keep it up :)
Thanks dude! I appreciate it!

There's a cricket sound effect on this map that is SO ANNOYING. I sure hope the devs are aware of it.
haha, i was waiting to see who would comment on it 😂
@@FarmyCasts Must have been driving you crazy in the edit.
The game looks better and better.

You can't start losing a fight against infernals. The infest snowball wrecks people who get overconfident 😂

They also do bonus damage to everything infernal can build early game 🤡
Expecting this to be the next big balance change

i think that 300 supply is way too high. maybe 200 should be max cap or at least 250 can do.
