Nearly identical, IMO the last 2 songs they released are horrible. I think Jake must have written a lot of the original stuff and when he left the quality of their music started to drop.

Despite some generic elements that have been explored before by the band, it's still Amaranthe. The vocal and instrumental performances are finely tuned, and the atmosphere is delightfully captivating. Elize Ryd continues to shine and radiate her wonderful presence, and that, in itself, is a delight.

Elize is elite level pop singer she is better then all mainstream pop singers i heard except that asian chick i forgot her name.But no one ever heard of her or Amaranthe outside of metal circle.It's because Amaranthe is legit mix of pop and metal not some pop band where they just "sprinkle" little metal that is what makes them special.But they should do more songs like Archangel and Damnation Flame.
Amaranthe have again composed another excellent song, the combination of a great melody, excellent drum work and phenomenal performance by all the singers in this song is unique!

That one is sooooo good (song and vid alike) that my wish to view and listen to it again and again is insatiable... It has the power, the vocal melodies (which are insanely catchy), everyone's performance, the video aesthetic is soooo good (cyberpunk vibes with that blue/red/pink hues) plus Mikael seems like he was a part of the band since day 1 and really fits in.
