Spring Trout Fishing + Shore Lunch

Today we are back out on Lake Superior fishing for all types of trout! Spring trout fishing on Lake Superior is one of my favorite bites of the season. It really isn't a difficult style of fishing and the action is normally good. Today it is just Shelby and I in the boat. I talk about how I get set up to troll for spring trout on the big lake. I talk about my favorite trout lures and the locations I like to fish. We take it easy today and do a fish fry on one of the many islands . The only thing I have don't get is - who are and why people these people give you a Thumbs down.
If they don't like it they should just Leave and do watch, maybe switch back watching Cartoons.

Love your vids. Think you do a great job. Would like to see maybe a series of workshop vids. following the walleye migration and ways to catch them throughout year after they leave the fox river and migrate north all the way up to little bay de noc. I’m from the U.P. of Michigan and do a lot of fishing in rivers/backwaters between dams catch a lot of walleyes below dams when there spawning in the spring my question is when there done spawning where do the females filter out to. Can catch a lot of small males there for awhile but can’t seem to get on the larger females until the water warms more.

Tom I see you are running what appears to be 2 Helix 9's. I am currently upgrading my fishfinders. I have a 999 SI on the stern of my tiller boat. I am thinking of getting a new Helix 8 and mounting it next to the 999 and network them. One would be used for full screen SI and the other for just mapping. Or I could sell my 999 SI and get 1 Helix 12 SI mega and use it split screen SI/mapping. What would you recommend?
