    Answer to the "why would you." I broke my French Press that I use for making tea, and luckily have an AeroPress hanging out!

    I use my French Press for loose leaf tea, never crossed my mind to use the Aeropress but I like the idea 👍🏽

    Good to see someone else doesn’t give a shit if the aero press is straight! Hahaha

    I'm curious... I'm on an elimination diet that took coffee away 😱 [temporarily] so I'm using Coffig in my Aeropress (similar to tea). There is much less volume, so no real puck! I just got a stainless steel filter for my birthday and it helps, but WHY why Why did Aeropress leave big gaping square holes on the sides of the cap (original Aeropress) because, without a big puck of coffee, that area still leaks, even though I'm using the inverted method when pressing.

      I’ve tried to make chai tea using the aeropress with a paper filter, but without success. I simply couldn’t get the water through; it wouldn’t plunge.😢

    Can you cold brew tea and if so how long?

    • @ArtistiCoffeeRoasters
      @ArtistiCoffeeRoasters  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can, cold tea takes longer as it won’t get the oils out. Timing, 🤔

      @@leroybrown4797 I put 8 bags of Yellow Label in a jug with cold water (I don't know how big it is, 1.5 litres maybe) in the fridge over night, 8-10 hours and it makes the best ice tea you could imagine. Zero acidity or bitterness.

    Yes, it is possible, but certainly not desirable. Because it produces tea.
