Just to show you how absurd this is: default shield bash damage (when upgraded) is 200. Possessed Barons & Tyrants take 80 damage, and Possessed Marauders take 66. Gladiator on the other hand still takes the full 200, but has *FIFTEEN THOUSAND* HP, and *TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND* in Phase 2. This is *EXTREMELY* busted. Also, consider that it is _halving my framerate_ when it's happening. If I played at a lower resolution, this would be even worse. EDIT Since there's been a few people asking, I'll put the instructions here as well: _Setup_ 1. Holding a non-chaingun weapon, pull up weapon wheel 2. After the timeslow fully kicks in, hold your mod button then swap to chaingun using the wheel 3. After the chaingun is done being pulled out, release your mod button Now you can do this glitch at any time until you hit a load screen _Performing_ 1. Hold the mod button on any non-chaingun weapon (jump before this for chrono if you want that) 2. Dash, then immediately swap to chaingun, while holding forward And that's it.
@@AswelGaming Yes. Higher frames equate to more damage, since it ticks per frame. And chrono strike is used to basically fit more frames in the same amount of game simulation time; it slows the game down, but doesn't change the framerate. CS is a 0.3x timescale modifier, so a framerate of 250 during CS equates to an effective FPS of 833.
I guess Chaingun Shield damage can be multiplied by how much frame rate utilized on the Chrono Strike Shield Bash that I could see in the second phase from 220 it dropped down to 120. So it's like 200 x 100 = 20000 ? Imagine your frame rate is uncapped, you can pretty much one hit everything.
@@KOuntry_Muxcle_Kelly Should be doable on consoles. Effectiveness will be more limited though, especially if you're not playing on the 120fps modes of the newest consoles.
I thought was supposed to be OP. It didn't even 1 cycle the gladiator on his 2nd phase. JK. This is absurd. I was just laughing at how insane it was the whole time. Just wow.
The only catch is that it's directly tied to framerate. Higher FPS equates to more damage. But it's very easy to do. Set it up by pulling up weapon wheel and holding right click then swapping to chaingun (what I did at the start of the Gladiator clips). After that, just hold right click with any other weapon out then dash and swap to chaingun immediately. If you want to also utilize chrono strike, just jump before you hold right click.
Sort of, yes. But it's a specific input sequence you need to do, in addition to setting up the glitch (like I did before Gladiator P1 in this video). Instructions are in the pinned comment.
It has not been patched. If you followed the setup steps exactly, you might just be off on timing. You need to time it so that your dash collides with the enemy before the chaingun starts getting pulled out. Essentially, the closer to the enemy you are, the later you need to dash. If you're right up next to an enemy you'll even need to dash hitting your chaingun hotkey, instead of before.

this has probably got to be the most absurd and craziest discoveries in this game
It's absolutely beautiful.
I thought was supposed to be OP. It didn't even 1 cycle the gladiator on his 2nd phase. JK.

Speedrunners are gonna have a time of thier life with this technique.
i really hope id software doesnt try to fix this and break something else in the process, or break mods. no one is going to do this accidentally
Holy fuck man. The BFG just got obsoleted.
Nah, bfg still good, the unmaykr however is even beyond garbage rn
*yOu CaN't JuSt UsE tHe ChAiNgUn'S sHiElD aS a WeApOn!*
This will be great for speed runs
Si Utra Nightmare Campagin 😎👌
Muchas gracias Amigo
I dare say FartInk8 found the most broken tech in the game, lols
Shocking
It so satisfying to watch it for some reason
I need to know how this works, it has to have a catch

@@bowsrcs that is so crazy but sadly i might just stick to my old methods because i play on switch and some areas really drop my fps
This needs to blow up, INSANE
I can already see chaotic speed runs abusing the “hell” out of this
Oh no what did you DO
probably gonna use this on that possessed marauder in horde mode
Accurate picture of me and my jaws watching this :O
Can't wait to try this, until they patch it out
Holy moly
this trick is worth for a try
I see even greater speedruns coming
TARAS NABAD UN HERE I GO
I wonder if it's possible to reach the actual Icon of Sin's hitbox to bulldoze it.
This is amazing lmao
i like how it sounds like a horn
Oh my god this is real! 😈
On the Doom Hunter, you have to take him off his sledge. But that is just so crazy ... who wiil do the entire game with this tricks ?: ^^
i can't believe it
one of the most underrated mods in the game is now more bfg than THE bfg
Hey there, can you explain how it's done?
I just added instructions to the pinned comment.
@@bowsrcs Thanks!
Time to get my UN runs in 😂
literally goes brr
INSANE
Now watch them release an emergency hotfix to stop it. Enjoy it while it lasts!
even the sound is fuckin sexy. man i love this.
I always had chrono strike and my shield never done this.
So what, just chronostrike jump and shield bash?
Sort of, yes. But it's a specific input sequence you need to do, in addition to setting up the glitch (like I did before Gladiator P1 in this video).

@@bowsrcs ill try this later on console
Before they patch it out 😂
what have i just witnessed
Would this work on the Xbox one?
I'm guessing that this won't work on console.
doom-hunter's sled is immune
WHAT .... 😲
WHAT THE F*CK ... 🤯
It s work on steam last version, glitch is sick and funny.
This is giving me full auto precession bolt vibes. Like I know it's cool and all but a part of me is saying that this should be patched out.
Did they already patch it? I can't seem to make it work no matter what I do.
It has not been patched.

Is this a PC thing only before I get my hopes up for nothing?
This should work on consoles, but its effectiveness will be reduced because of the lower framerate caps.
Holy shit
is this viable on console?
Wow
Has this been patched?
Nope. Still works on the latest version.
What in the-?
Are you a wizard?
This'll probably be patched, though I hope it doesn't lol
what
Takes the fun out of it. But whatever you need to help you beat UN i guess.
lol
*impossible*
Literally the same bug from D16 with the bfg, disgusting
