Great idea to replace the rear door surround - again, starting with the blank canvass and making a much tidier finished product. I really like the long basket across the rear window - very useful! And I love the teasers at the end of each video. Great work Tin!
Thanks Steve! It felt like a better point to start from - there were a lot of holes on the old door. Glad to hear you're enjoying the sneak peeks of what the team is working on! :)
loving the idea of the rear window shelf!!! I think you should offer it in a full molle panel as well similar to the side rear windows for people who would rather just be able to molle on pouches to that area! its a perfect spot for a bunch of pouches centred around cooking, living and first aid as its super accessible.
Enjoying the re-do of your old Prado build. Loving the new developments too Can’t wait to see the side mirror aerial mount and how it gets wired. Regarding the molle panels in the 150 Could you have designed it that it would sit a lot closer to the side windows? Feel like a slight loss of space IMO. Keep it the great innovative designs.
So glad to hear you're enjoying the build! With the Molle Panels, that's totally valid feedback! They definitely could be pushed into the recess more, but it would have resulted in a smaller panel overall to do this. The other reason we try to maintain this distance is that having a recess behind allows plenty of room for wiring 12volt items, which we mount on an accessory Electrical Panel we make. So things like anderson plugs, rockers, accessory sockets, USB plugs - having them mounted between the panel and the window, rather than surface mounted to the panel, allows them to sit flush. We could go closer, but when we approached development the general feel was that this distance gives us the best of both worlds.
We'll be working on it! The goal is always to make prototypes that are viable products, but the goal for the build is to bring you behind the scenes too - sometimes prototypes are great in theory but don't work in reality. Testing them as we are now is all part of the process!
It's currently one of our prototype concept products, but once we've completed testing and have a little more feedback from the market we'll make a call on whether it's ready to be released. :)
The Rear Roof Shelf is the most useful storage area, from memory that was a 1 Beer Job 😎
You have a good memory ;)
Great functionality as always and now with the black finish it integrates better with the interior colour! Well done😊
Glad to hear you think so too, we totally agree!
Damm Kaon, 2 more items to add to the build. Very clever, always thought the rear door needed more options. You guys nailed it👌
The team have been busy! ;) Never enough for the rear door, haha. Thanks for the kind words.
Keep the innovation coming along. You need to bring more 80 Series specific accessories and hardware. 👍
That's the goal! Thank you :) - Definitely, we aren't done with the 80 yet.

Cool to see the R&D going in. Cant wait for the Prado to finish so the FJ can come in for its birthday 😊
Haha! Glad to hear you're enjoying following along.

Love the side mirror antenna mount. Cannot wait for it to hit the market!!
Love that rear door setup and agree the black blends in much better. Another awesome vid. Cheers
The black really does look good with the grey, even better with the black interior! Thank you, glad you're enjoying following along.
Love the Aussie innovation! Truly the backbone of your company. Well done!
Glad to hear you're enjoying it! The build has been a really good push to get a few concepts out of our brains and out into the real world.
That window cage would be compatable with snap shades too, quite a good idea 👍
That's a great idea too! We've been thinking vinyl or similar, but snap shades would work a treat.
Wish you guys had more stuff for the Jeeps but love all the prototyping.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it!
Awesome work and just checking any further cool ideas that you are working on for 300 🙏🙏
We have some things in the works for the 300 at the moment. ;)
Can’t wait for them to be released 👌👍
Great video series. A perfect Idea to make it!!
Thank you! We're so glad to hear you're enjoying it.
Damn gonna have to do some more shopping 😅 keep up the good stuff Tin. Well-done Kaon :)
Haha ooops! Thank you!
Well I think you are happy with your product because I am My 76 Land Cruiser
When is that rear window bracket coming out. That’s brilliant. Will look good with the rest of my Kaon gear on that rear door!
We've got to do some more testing and refinement, plus gain a little more customer feedback - but we'll be working on it!
A rear mollie would be great
Enjoying the re-do of your old Prado build.

Where are you going to fit the water tap? Can't wait to find out!
All will be revealed ;)
I was going to ask when a rear window Molle was coming? Sweet Ideas...Question-could you have a full rear window panel and attach the shelf to that?
Looks awesome, hope these prototypes make it to market and your not just teasing us with cool additions 😅

Love your products, only wish there were more for my Hilux! Can we have some Molle panels for the tub please!
We're hoping to tackle more for the Hilux in the near future! We've barely scratched the surface on dual cabs.
Thought about allowing molle panels to pivot/hinge, allowing ability to utilise both sides of panel?
Now that's a clever idea.
I like the new rear storage over the glass window. Can’t find it on the website, just wondering if this will become available?
It's currently one of our prototype concept products, but once we've completed testing and have a little more feedback from the market we'll make a call on whether it's ready to be released. :)
@@KAONaust awesome work as always!
Would really be nice if you guys would make these also for a JIMNY
We make a lot of this gear for a Jimny - The Shelf, Molles, and a Rear Door Table - which specifically are you referring to?
