This is honestly my favorite DW track. It just makes me long for Matt Smith to park the TARDIS outside my bedroom window and take me on adventures with him :)
I know this comment is three years old but this is the first time I played this video with your comment being the first one I saw and I just finished watching that episode
Best Doctor Who score ever :) Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Alex Kingston, Steven Moffat - perfection! Season 5, what a wild ride, "Prisoner Zero has escaped!", "Silence will fall and the Pandorica will open!"
I watched 3 doctors. I loved all of them, there were a lot of companions who were going to far galaxies and wibbly wobbly timelines, shouting "doctor!" but the one that I remember, will be Amy's. "DOCTOOR!!!"
I am...actually trying not to cry. Fighting back tears. Wow, why does Doctor Who music affect me this much?Maybe it's because I've been watching it for so long, and I love it so much? Seriously, I would put Doctor Who above every anime I've ever watched. And that is REALLY saying something.
I somehow have an unhealthy obsession with this song. I can listen to this like 3 times a day, and I've done that for like nearly 11 months. Is it okay?
I meant he said "listen to 11 and when you hit 11 months, listen to 12 for 12 months" You can't listen to 13's for 13 months, cause that would be 12 and 1 month
If Matt Smith returns for the next anniversary special, then I hope that this soundtrack is used for his first appearance. I'm sure it would make it epic.
“Is this world...protected? Because you aren’t the first lot to have come here; oh, there have been *so many!* But what you got to ask is...what happened to them?” “Hello, I’m the doctor. And basically...heh... *run.”* -The Eleventh Hour
There’s one thing you never put in a trap-if you’re smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow-there’s one thing you never ever put in a trap. Me.
The Eleventh Doctor "It didn't make the noise" "What noise?" "You know, the **tardis sound immitation** " "It's not supposed to make that sound, you leave the brakes on."
Agente Eisen but i'm the last doctor so i know who was i and i've never being you (and my image is not me i just love this old man for i've done befor regenra..... oups spoilers ;p ) Ps: i'm thirteen million years old ...
Oh dear Doctor, you certainly was me, or be...the time is really confusing you know? but listen, listen and imagine one thing. All that things that you do, that you did, that you will do, all of them... I allowed. see you in the future my dear, with a new face, with a new TARDIS, and....remember, I'm Watching you.
I had seen sporadic episodes of DW (old and new) over the years, but the continuity seemed too massive to ever try and actually catch up with it, especially here in America where its availability on TV has always been sketchy. Then a couple of months back I happened to catch a syndicated (aka cut to shreds) broadcast of The 11th Hour. And this one episode inspired me to watch (or RE-watch) every episode on Nflix in order, plus as much of classic stuff as I could fit into 1 free week at hulu (focusing mostly on the Tom Baker years). And I am quite conscious of the fact that this music (and the "can I come with you?" piece) played a huge part in my sudden inclination to do that. So, in a weird way, I feel doubly grateful to the people who made it and used it so effectively. After all those years they FINALLY inspired me to get invested in Dr. Who.
***** Oookay. I was complimenting a piece of music, giving it credit for helping to bring in at least one viewer: myself. YOU seem to want to debate the virtues of watching things on other sites vs. youtube (because I mentioned a couple of them by name, I suppose). It seems to me like we're on two completely different topics here. Or maybe I'm wrong... with authority.
Eleventh Doctor: Oi, I didn't say you could go! Article 57 of the Shadow Proclamation. This is a fully established Level 5 planet, and you were going to burn it? What? Did you think no one was watching? You lot, back here. Now! (He hangs up phone) Okay, now I've done it.
This song is amazing. You can slow it down, sounds absolutely amazing (Words Win Wars) it feels like the climax to an epic battle. Everything leads up to that point. When you play it normally, (this) it's amazing. You get this sense of urgency. Like, someone called the Doctor is introduced to you and he tells you to "Basically, run!" AND SH*TS CHASING YOU SO YA GOTTA GRT OUT OF THERE!
So I am going through every season's soundtrack and picking my favorites to download later, not really listening to each one all the way through; this came on and I just have to listen to the whole thing it's so good
Oh, Christ, does this give me the feels. So many things have changed in my life since the first time I heard this, when I was still a child. Some for the better, some for the worse but I'll never be in that same place again and this makes me feel ten years old again.
THIS,IS THE SOUND THAT IS SPREAD ALL AROUND WHEN VICTORY HAS BEEN WON BY THE DOCTOR!! THIS IS THE SOUND WHEN SOMETHING EPIC HAPPENS! THIS IS THE SOUND YOU WILL HEAR WHEN THE DOCTOR HAS WON!! This is the sound.
One more question, just one more. Is this planet protected? OH your not the first to come here, there have been so many others, and the question you need to ask is 'what happened to them?'................Hello. I'm the Doctor. Basically.......Run!
The first question. The question that must never be answered… hidden in plain sight….The question you've been running from all your life! Doctor who?…..Doctor who?….Doctor WHO!
My quest to find odd time signatures in popluar media led me here. Turns out most instances of a unique time sig subconsciously attracted me to these pieces even as a kid. I guess that's kind of the point.
In the madness of this chaotic universe, were the darkest corners send forth their legions to extinguish the light, there is only one spark of order. One guardian to gaze into the abyss and never blink. He is the heart of the storm, the fire at the center of creation, the one man to exist beyond the death of time, the one who the blackest night fears, the Lord of Time. He is the Doctor, and this is his song.
"Hello I'm the Doctor....... basically........ run"
this line sort of reminds me of the master from series 3
When you hear your favorite DW song or phrase, does anyone else get a sort of excited twinge in their stomach?
I get goosebumps.
Every time
Omg yes!!!!
Yup
Does a boner count? I'm asking for a freind.
This is honestly my favorite DW track. It just makes me long for Matt Smith to park the TARDIS outside my bedroom window and take me on adventures with him :)

Ally F Don't we all want to take a ride in that blue box of his?
Same!
Everyone waits for their Hogwarts letter, but I'm waiting for a madman with a box

- The Doctor, Season 3, Episode 6
The Lazarus Experiment really is an underrated episode.
I know this comment is three years old but this is the first time I played this video with your comment being the first one I saw and I just finished watching that episode
Best Doctor Who score ever :) Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Alex Kingston, Steven Moffat - perfection!
Season 5, what a wild ride, "Prisoner Zero has escaped!",
"Silence will fall and the Pandorica will open!"
Can we take a moment to appreciate Murray Gold who did all the music for Doctor Who since 2005
*and coming for 2023
Yay!!!!!!
I watched 3 doctors. I loved all of them, there were a lot of companions who were going to far galaxies and wibbly wobbly timelines, shouting "doctor!" but the one that I remember, will be Amy's. "DOCTOOR!!!"
'I remember you and YOU'RE LATE FOR MY WEDDDDIIINNGGGGUH!!!' ~best amy line ever XD
Ya?

I know exactly which one you're talking about, just from you typing it. "DoctOrRRRrrrRR!!"
@@AfraidMonsters That Scottish accent will forever be ingrained in my brain lol
"I'm the Doctor. Basically...RUN."
Mr. Personality Productions I just read your comment while "I Am The Doctor" started playing.
+Brandon Pearce Sounds like the best moment for that. ;D
Mr. Personality Productions another commentor already said this
If you were the doctor, what would you do?
Im the doctor you are the daleks
Amy, listen to me. This is very important, my life may one day depend on it. I am definitely a mad man with a box.
Omg yes

I am...actually trying not to cry. Fighting back tears. Wow, why does Doctor Who music affect me this much?Maybe it's because I've been watching it for so long, and I love it so much? Seriously, I would put Doctor Who above every anime I've ever watched. And that is REALLY saying something.

WHAT ABOUT CHRIS!
Yeah I agree two of the best a actors for the role of the doctor from galafrai
Listening to this while I use a steak knife to spread peanut butter.
Why is this funny to me?
the most badass piece of toast you'll ever have
You'll end up finding your buttering it with the sonic screwdriver
Brilliant!
11th doctor: does anything
The music:
The song "I am the Doctor" makes everything more dramatic and- like bow ties and fezzes and stetsons- cool.
they should play this everytime matt smith walks into a studio to be interviewed or enters a q&a panel
nah, just if its a dr who interview or q&a
I somehow have an unhealthy obsession with this song. I can listen to this like 3 times a day, and I've done that for like nearly 11 months. Is it okay?
Keep doing it until you actually hit 11 months. Then switch to 12th Doctor's theme, listen to that for 12 months.
...what happens when you hit 13?..
+ronger97 Regenerate
I meant he said "listen to 11 and when you hit 11 months, listen to 12 for 12 months"
You can't listen to 13's for 13 months, cause that would be 12 and 1 month
You're insane.
If Matt Smith returns for the next anniversary special, then I hope that this soundtrack is used for his first appearance. I'm sure it would make it epic.
Like how "The Doctor Forever" played at the start of David Tennant's first scene in "Day of the Doctor."
@@dominicfiacco I didn't remember that particular theme, but I will always remember this one.
OH MY GOSH!
I listened to this with headphones, I think my brain just broke from too much awesome.
Listening with headphones right now and I know what you mean
the series 6 one is still more epic tho
“Is this world...protected? Because you aren’t the first lot to have come here; oh, there have been *so many!* But what you got to ask is...what happened to them?”
“Hello, I’m the doctor. And basically...heh... *run.”* -The Eleventh Hour
When I listen to this music, I feel like I'm doing something really important, like creating the next big theory. Particularly when doing homework. :)

Why did I never think of that?
2:14 - 2:35 "give em hell Danny boy"

I have to say, no matter which Doctor is your favorite, this has to be the best theme for all of them. :)
Even though I didn't like the 11th Doctor I can't deny that his theme is absolutely amazing! I love it!
Eleventh Doctor: Oi, I didn't say you could go! Article 57 of the Shadow Proclamation. This is a fully established Level 5 planet, and you were going to burn it? What? Did you think no one was watching? You lot, back here. Now!

Okay, now I've done it.
Hello, It's 2020.. basically... i'm gonna watch DW again.. i'm really excited.. and i wanna cry at the same time .. idk why
#Nostalgia
Muthafuckin' goosebumps, yo.
Definitely my best DW track!!! Sends chills down your spine!!
Why this video doesn't have literally ALL of the views, I will never know.
probably cos series 4 music was the peak and had the most variety
This plays in my head when ever I'm running

This for me is my favourite Doctor Who song of all time. Get goosebumps every time because I know shit is about to go down...
If I ever need motivation or something to kick my brain into gear when I need to create something, THIS is the song to listen to.
Out of all the Doctor's theme this one is the most fun to listen too.
This is DEFINITELY my favorite Doctor Who song! Murray Gold is really talented!
“There is one person that you don’t ever want to put in a trap.”
Best. Song. Ever.
A song that screams "I'm ready for what lies ahead!" Adventure, glory, and heartbreak await.
I kid you not, this song has to be one of my top favorite Doctor Who songs of all time!!!!
This piece really makes you want to wave your hands like a conductor
lmao, all songs in an odd time signature like this make me want to do that
Oh, Christ, does this give me the feels. So many things have changed in my life since the first time I heard this, when I was still a child. Some for the better, some for the worse but I'll never be in that same place again and this makes me feel ten years old again.

Amy pond the magnificent Amy pond …..
I will NEVER get sick of this song! It's just so epic and representative of Eleven! A Doctorpiece if you will.
I knew the rhythm was not your standard 3/4 or 4/4... It's actually 7/4 though? Epic.
"I'm the doctor and this is my Tardis"
Been looking for this, thanks!
National anthem, ladies and gentlemen
1:41 when you call in backup
David Smith is the best Doctor.
John Smith is the best. (John Smith is his alias usually, John is David Tennant's middle name, Smith is Matt's last name)
ModeOBeast oh my gosh, that is so funny!!!!XD
Totally agree
Clearly William Whitaker is the best.
numpteez
Christopher Capaldi would be a great name.
one of the best part of doctor who they do a amazing job fitting the right music to each part
i love this track so so much ♥
I don't doubt the new man, but i will miss Murray Gold themes.
Great music to run to.
Geronimo
This reminds me so much of 'His World' from Sonic 2006 in the beginning.
+Hikari Takamatsu I thought no-one would mention it! And Hero by Skillet, but only the intro to that.
2:52 kind of sums up 11 for me.
i love it so much. I feel joy when i hear it
1:41 doctors army apears at demons run
Need another scene like that
THIS,IS THE SOUND THAT IS SPREAD ALL AROUND WHEN VICTORY HAS BEEN WON BY THE DOCTOR!! THIS IS THE SOUND WHEN SOMETHING EPIC HAPPENS! THIS IS THE SOUND YOU WILL HEAR WHEN THE DOCTOR HAS WON!! This is the sound.
Agreed.
Best Soundtrack EVER!!!!
Definitely the most iconic theme. New Who’s peak in my opinion (at least of overall popularity).
One more question, just one more. Is this planet protected? OH your not the first to come here, there have been so many others, and the question you need to ask is 'what happened to them?'................Hello. I'm the Doctor. Basically.......Run!
I think that's everyone's favorite
I DON'T WANT HIM TO GOOOOO!!!
This soundtrack makes you wanna go out there and have an adventure just like the Doctor!❤❤❤
CRYING BECAUSE OF 11 LEAVING
this is a fucking epic song.
The first question. The question that must never be answered…
hidden in plain sight….The question you've been running from all your life!
Doctor who?…..Doctor who?….Doctor WHO!
This song should be called "it's about to be a bad day for the bad guys"
Goosebumps everywhere
whenever the new alien race tying to kill the doctor hears this, they know crap is about to go down.
it gets good at 2:11
Really good with scary game escape music.
Whenever you hear this song you already know shit is going to be epic.

14/8 Time signature. Badass!
any time i hear this my heart just starts beating
I'm actually staring to watch nothing but dr who and TWD content on here
Basically, run
You must feel very epic :)
"WHO DA MAN?!"
i love his theme so much!!! its so fun!!!
In the madness of this chaotic universe, were the darkest corners send forth their legions to extinguish the light, there is only one spark of order. Love this song..and love you Ami Pond
