Very helpful! I'm just upgrading for the first time from 2009 to 2019 and I was like where the hell do I start??? In just 6 minutes I am operating in just about the same condition I was before! I just had AutoCad completely wipe out my customized toolbar set up and went back to the default while working away. Not sure what in the world caused it to go back to the original set up, it just completely vanished with no trace of what I did. Is there anyway for me to get back my customized toolbar set up back or is it gone for good. And if gone for good, is there any way to save my customized tool bar set up once I have it the way I want it so if it happens again, I can just import the customized set up back to my set up?
Well, believe it or not. I went back through to set up my customized toolbars again and as I checked each individual tool bar category they came back and were placed in the same place as before with the same individual commands I had after deleting most and inserting a few different ones so I didn't have to start from complete scratch like the first time I did it. I went ahead and saved it this time so if it happens again, I'm hoping I can just select the customized setting. We'll see. Just wanted to give you that feedback in case you didn't know the answer.

When I type in Ribbon I don't get the panels like happens here at 4:30. I seem to be the only person with this problem. I can't find anywhere else this issue is discussed. Wondering why my CAD wiped it off the screen in the first place.
In my autocad 2013 classic view, i need the file tab. But when i open options & go to display i cannot find the tick box for "display file tab" like in your video. Its very frustrating. Bcos every videos shows the same solution but in my option there's no "display file tab tick box". Please help.

How do I fix Question marks on display customized toolbar or ribbon in AutoCAD 2019?
Your subject matter is how to restore Menubars, toolabrs etc, yet you start with a populated screen, complete with all the toolbars and icons. My screen is blank. I want to know HOW TO RESORE the Toolbars.

Helped me out, it's annoying how autodesk makes it harder to restore toolbars. Music is a bit hard to take, had to turn it off.

Just only you feel this... other Autodesk software user are satisfied with Desiging
I've seen many discussion groups discussing how to set up toolbars like in classic AutoCAD, the ribbon adds one step to each command. Even worse with Release 2018, after setting up toolbars the way you want, everytime you bring up AutoCAD, another toobar pops up all on its own. AutoDesk has said it is a know issue and is working on it. It's not just me.

Thats good ..but i could not face problem to set Autocad workspaces .. autocad only one software who give switch workspace during drawing .. no matter about you work on 2D or 3D

Now lates2 version of autocad have new features and some enhancements in Software ..some people don't know or not mostly used this features of Autocad make Drawings fast and easier .. they satisfy with older version because they start learn on this particular workspace as Classic ..
But they are cant understand why Autodesk Provide Ribbon And Different Workspace ..

Solution:
To resolve this issue, attempt the following:
Use the PROJECTMANAGER command to bring the palette back:
On the command line, type in PROJECTMANAGER.
Select Enter.
Use the CUI to bring the palette back:
On the command line, type in CUI.
On the left column, select the current work-space.
On the right column, expand the "Palettes" drop down.
Select the "Project Manager" option.
On the bottom column, select the "Show" option, and select "Yes."
Select the location of the palette.
Select "Apply" and then "OK."
