- Hypsi finally got growth so let's grow a hypsi (or 3) and see how long the growth is and is it hard. Migrations zones were going insane mode yesterday and so was I XD

I kinda do see Salt Water drinking as something that not every Dino should have access. But i do think Deino, Ptera, Dibble, Pachy, Beibi and Tenonto should keep it, all Coastal dinos. Tenonto as well as it's going to inhabit islands in future, at least by looking at Carnivore list where Tenonto can be found.
I've seen people who have been nested. When they are hatched from egg, they get random mutations from their parents to those small slots in Mutation Screen (perhaps they even get grandparents ones as well?). First set of Inherited Mutations you get at birth, however i have not seen further videos on this so far. But yeah, Nesting is good idea to make offsprings better as they get free Mutation slot randomly from parents.

17:25 On Migration Zone changing, perhaps number of Hypsi species players rule how often you need to move? If there is only one, it changes soon after you arrive to your location and eat some of few foods there. I do hope this is not totally true, as its going to make nesting really hard if there are two of you but then it changes just before first eggs are ready to hatch.
On last matter, i am really feeling Secret Dinosaur is going to be Allosaur, one TH-camr i follow made video on where this rumor came, showed proof and talked how its going to help this stage of game as well as when Rex and Trike are added later. As those two Apexes would stomp current roster easily. Allo would be strong enough to push back and keep numbers in check.
Allo might be Secret Dino, or it might come before Apexes. However, Allo is going to use almost same Grabble ability Omni has, when looking how it works Mechanically. We might know as soon as they make few more adjusts to Omnis Grabble.
Kinda scary time, i went and bet to donate 5 € to you on this, i feel it might become true. Maybe? Let's see what news this month brings.
Yeah I know the small hexedons are for nesting inherits I was wondering the two grayed ones, they have no use yet, that why suspected one of them could be for eldering?
I haven't seen the dev boxes before either, this was first time seeing them there.
Maybe you're right that it swittched so fast because I was the only hypsi (at least in the area) but it was very troublesome because the mig zone switched as soon as I arrived and ate from the one plant I found. Most of the diet were S diet which was very unfortunate. I really think they need to fix the migs because it was ridiculous.
I think secret dino is allo, grabble came for omni so that indicates that they might be testing allo on QA branch. And they want it to be surpsise, hope it gets out same time as dibble!

I love hypsi, it's definitely one of the more creative and unique designs of the game. Feels like a real animal.

05:15 yeeeeeaah, the horde testing servers are horrible with dysyncing ever since a couple patches ago. 😆 He even swung on the opposite side hah...that was bad wow.

ooh lacer there a mutation that lets you drink salt water, and with mutations being inheritable you could totally stack some mutations to make an epic croc!

I think the salt water one doesn't really matter as a croc tbh, ocean is empty. I rather have anything to do with stamina and speed as croc 😁
The texture stuff at the human tunnel is probably because they're reworking some textures there.
Could just not put them there until they're done tbh. It just makes game feel so unfinished, when they do this...
The small hexagons are mutations that you can get from being nested in and the other big hexagons are probably mutations you get from eldering and becoming a strain
Yeah I know what the small ones are, tho there is so many of them so they can't all be from being nested in.
@@Laacerthe number of mutations increases with each generation i think? so like the grandkids would have even more unlocked than their parents and grandparents. it’s encourages nesting, i feel! makes the next gen stronger. ^^
Not sure how you normally play hypsi, but it's usually only a respawn simulator if you go and aggressively fight stuff.
Pretty sure the fourth mutation spot is the eldering one. The little ones have to do with nesting and I would expect a nesting one to be attached to the first if anything. Idk, the other two might be there for server options later on or maybe part of some unlockable quest type thing. Maybe the humans will be able to influence the dinosaurs genes when they're brought back and unlock those somehow.
@@HaughtyToast it is respawn simulator because people don't care as a hypsi, they take risks like I did with the climbing and blinding that stego. When there was no growth for it, people could take more risks as hypsi because you were back in no time lol. With growth people might take less risks as hypsi but I didn't really care about risks because that means no content.
@@Laacer Oh, I guess I play it a weird then. I'm always careful with hypsi because my goal is always to find another to nest wit, and it takes foooreeever to find another hypsi.
I don't really care about nesting 😅 so I don't mind if I don't find another hypsi.
The nest has become useful to the isle evrima 😂

She is exactly right, people now use "cannibalism" as justification to kill your own species on sight. It's most apparent with Dienosucas players, if you record a lot 80% of the time you get killed by other dienos they don't eat you. That's my experience any way.
Let's be honest, Hipsi is cute,
but i miss when then you spawn as a Adult Hypsi, but i would take like 20mil to grow with mutations, the isle is growing

Ye I did! Hypsi growth gives it the mutations it needs imo, the growth isn't too bad and as small thing you can hide very well. Nobody ever found me as juvi lol.

Baby hypsi isn't so bad, most things won't bother with you because you're so small. Most things don't bother with grown hypsi because it's so small. Beyond that Hypsi's abilities are all really good. To the point where it would be kind of busted if it could take a hit or two. Outruns most things, outswims most things, outmaneuvers most things, outjumps most things, can survive a decent drop, has a biome specifically tailored to those abilities, and can blind its assailants. And that's all without mutations which just make those qualities better or adds new ones like better stamina regen.
If you ever get the chance to be nested in as one take it. The extra mutations somehow makes you feel pretty strong despite being so squishy. Also hypsi families are just fun.
@@HaughtyToast what it needs is mutation that is similar to Beasts of Bermuda's sturdy ability. It could take a hit that otherwise would kill it but doesn't and leaves it with 5%hp. That would be life saver for hypsi.

Why? It felt wrong that the mixpacking dibble tried to kill it without any provocation, the stego friendly called and dibble just started to attack it right away. That is a-hole move in my books.
@Laacer maybe im just biased, but I didn't believe the baby stego was totally innocent. That is until I saw the dibble was a mixpacker. When I see a non predator fight a stego, im always gonna assume the stego did something.

Hmm I might try it out again when the next update drops. Although imo it's a bit hard to go back from PoT to this.
