Why aren't documents being requested? The dude should easily be able to prove that his income was reduced by showing documents from the company showing decreased income over time. And it's his responsibility to produce them since he's the one who wants the reduction. Why is his claim being believed at face value, but she has to produce evidence to counter it? I get that they have a lot of cases and want to save time, but if the dude / woman who initiated the case does not provide evidence that he/she should easily be able to produce the case should be dismissed

They're just reenacting a case that's already been settled. No real Court would allow all the ghetto stuff going on.... If you try pulling that at your local Court you'll get thrown in jail for contempt

He ended up not sending child support for months at a time. I had an okay job and we managed to make things work but it was a struggle. I couldn’t get any assistance because they went off what he was SUPPOSED to pay, not what he DID pay.
I just know that woman had so much more to say. She is literally just taking everything. Sis got reduced hours and had to get another job, got reduced child support, PROBABLY has to take care of that 4 year old by herself. Please don’t break. You’ll have an amazing testimony 🙏🏽

Me too. We have a verbal agreement, and he pays back what he misses by topping up other months. He's not able to be alone with them much due to mental health issues, so he helps out with the house when I do bed-time before he leaves so I get some space then, instead (our kids are all preschoolers). We both work hard to still present the kids with a united family front. Just because parents can't work things out as a couple, doesn't mean the kids should suffer for it.

I believe he submitted with his request for reduction. I know in the state of Ga you have to pay like 100 bucks just for them to hear the same case again.
Technically you submit documentation with the request or they check it out. The case is just to hear from the other side because they can just calculate his child support without him being there.

my ex was paying sporadic child support payments. We had to go back to court because he would not say how much money he was making when he was legally obligated. Judge increased his payment by 25 dollars. Three days later he went and got married to his live in girlfriend of five years and then tried to go back to court a month or two later saying his circumstances changed and he didn't want to pay support anymore. The judge was MAD... just because he got legally married doesn't mean he gets to reduce his payments. They tried saying he was supporting her and her two kids with because the kid's father was a deadbeat. I showed the father had 2 jobs, a brand new car and a new home. I stated if he can afford all of that then he can pay support. My children should not have to suffer because she doesn't want to go after support ( I suspect he was giving her money under the table). The judge was so outraged at him he was ordered to pay my lawyer fees. I also asked in writing if he wanted visitation so he could never say I tried to keep him from the kids and he declined. I never ever wanted him to say the reason he didn't see his kids was because I prohibited him.

He better be glad he's not in the State of IL. Child support now is 17% per child, and that's a decrease. It was 20% when my children were getting child support

She told the truth. Her hours was cut because of his wife. If he could offer her a extra 12 hours weekly so the support can be lowered, he could just put it on her schedule.

I just found this channel today and im loving it, but Honestly she seems biased towards the males. It seemed unfair for him to just say without documentation that his earnings were down. Then reduce his child support based solely on his boy Scouts honor

Hearing these cases make me extremely glad I have a healthy co- parent relationship with my daughters father. No way I’d want to constantly go back and forth to court. I absolutely love this show though!!
Me too. We have a verbal agreement, and he pays back what he misses by topping up other months. He's not able to be alone with them much due to mental health issues, so he helps out with the house when I do bed-time before he leaves so I get some space then, instead (our kids are all preschoolers). We both work hard to still present the kids with a united family front. Just because parents can't work things out as a couple, doesn't mean the kids should suffer for it.
You are really blessed because it's hard to get 500 out of my kids father for 3 kids... 2 which are heavily involved in sports...
I'm intrigued how no one brings in paperwork. Show some proof! Prove the business lost business. Prove the cost of insurance. This clown is amazing. He reduced her hours, got his support cut and still trying to pay less. He better be glad he's not in state court

I believe he submitted with his request for reduction. I know in the state of Ga you have to pay like 100 bucks just for them to hear the same case again.
Technically you submit documentation with the request or they check it out.
The case is just to hear from the other side because they can just calculate his child support without him being there.

Love it when the non-custodial parent begs to reduce the payments on his kids from former wife cause he remarried and made another child with the new wife. Get a second or third job dude and stop making babies you do not want.
my ex was paying sporadic child support payments. We had to go back to court because he would not say how much money he was making when he was legally obligated. Judge increased his payment by 25 dollars. Three days later he went and got married to his live in girlfriend of five years and then tried to go back to court a month or two later saying his circumstances changed and he didn't want to pay support anymore. The judge was MAD... just because he got legally married doesn't mean he gets to reduce his payments. They tried saying he was supporting her and her two kids with because the kid's father was a deadbeat. I showed the father had 2 jobs, a brand new car and a new home. I stated if he can afford all of that then he can pay support. My children should not have to suffer because she doesn't want to go after support ( I suspect he was giving her money under the table). The judge was so outraged at him he was ordered to pay my lawyer fees. I also asked in writing if he wanted visitation so he could never say I tried to keep him from the kids and he declined. I never ever wanted him to say the reason he didn't see his kids was because I prohibited him.
Yeah it's really frustrating to me that he won this case. Nobody in the comments seem to be frustrated
