But Rik Mayall who Played the dad is definitely an actor you should take a look at if you can The Young Ones, Blackadder, Bottom, The Comic Strip, and The New Statesman are just some of the highlights.
I've mentioned the young ones on page before, Rick Mayle who plays the dad in the bear suit is in a crazy student house, it was made early 80s he is a poet, you have a punk, a hippy and a cool person who ain't cool, do it, 2 series 6 episodes each first episode of second series called bambi is best as they go on university challenge as scumbag college v footlights oxbridge
I would love to see the two of you review the ‘Fry and Laurie’ Barman’s Sketch. It’s so laden with innuendos about men vs women relationships! plus I don’t think you done any Fry & Laurie yet? Would be nice to see an American reaction to Hugh Laurie NOT being ‘House’.
There were 3 movies made by the same team. The order they were filmed were Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The Worlds End. They all stand alone but by far the best movie (ever) is Hot Fuzz. Some of the jokes are British centric but you will still enjoy them.

But he went into acting, like some do when they don't want to be fully active anymore. Many UK movies and TV shows use the real deal.

Theres some truth to this episode. So Gregg used to be a drama teacher before he went into comedy and acting. He also went on a night out and go so drunk that in the morning, he somehow put on his mother underwear and went to work (school).
Brian & Jo are Dan's friends since they were at school together, but Mike Wozniak & Roisin Conaty were badly miscast as they are clearly about a decade younger than Greg Davies.
I wouldn’t say it was bad cast. One episode they do make a joke that Brian and Jo were in year 7 when dan was in 6th form or year 11 I think. And year 7s were dans only friends 😂
