The whole “Press it” album is a masterpiece I think Taemin showed a more mature side with that album and also how versatile he really is. I think my baby Taemin deserves more because he’s just so talented he’s like a chameleon I of course think SHINee has influenced him as an artist because they’re always exploring different genres of music.

Once again, Taemin shows that he's awesome in singing, dancing and seducing us. Also, the comments and analysis of the reactors gave made listening to these songs a new whole experience
this is what i love about this channel. they've reviewed songs i may have looked over in the past + helped me look at them in a new light cos of their knowledge. or even songs i've had on repeat forever (like taemin's discography) + it almost feels new again? idk but im happy they like him

Wow. I didn't know how much I needed to hear people talk about his musicality and vocals more than his dance. Like yes, he's a stellar dancer, no one like him in the world. But he's a great vocalist too and such an amazing artist period. So yeah. Thanks ♡
I knew his songs before his dance! I actually had a prejudice on him cos I wanted to stan my biases. But couldn't help playing his songs way too often. After watching 2 videos of him, I couldn't believe that he just topped all of my biases.

"Cannot dance" lol that's his best talent, and used to be his ONLY talent until he did vocal training and improved drastically.
A BIG correction. Taemin has extreme natural talent for dancing. He auditioned and got in because he was so good at dancing.
@@marz22 His only vocal training was with his hyungs (members). Once they debuted, he could have professional vocal training due to the potentially huge embarrassment to the company for debuting someone who couldn't sing. Additionally, Taemin couldn't sing when he debuted at 14 because his vocal cords weren't fully developed at that time.
@@sophisticatedtwat9160 Correct. He auditioned at 12 YO (International age) and was immediately snatched up due to his phenomenal dancing ability at such a young age. Then, he debuted at 14 YO (Intl. age) as the main dancer of SHINee. Kai of EXO (Taemin's best friend) was once asked in an interview what he thought of Taemin when he first met him as a trainee. Kai replied, "I thought he was Usher. " and "I am so grateful because he has taught me so much."

Can you BELIEVE this legend used to be one of the worst vocalists in SM but he actively worked his ass off to the point that he's literally one of the most well-rounded soloists now :') bc yeah I think about that a lot

This makes my heart swell with pride! Considering he was told as a trainee he couldn't sing and his solo voice isn't actually recorded in their debut song, he has worked so hard to get where he is now and it's amazing to see them react so well to his vocals!! 💕
I love that when they talk about certain part of the music theory you actually put a part of the song it helps understand what they’re talking about so much better when you can actually hear it in the song, it’s great and I haven’t seen that in any other vids I think so I hope you keep doing it!!! 🙌🏼♥️ Im happy they liked Taeminie’s music

The fact that the song is called Drip Drop and is shot in a desert amplifies the effect more. And interestingly, one of the dance video of press your number is shot in in shallow water ditch, which actually creates a sort of conversation between these two tracks.

I've always thought of "Mystery Lover" as a rather unappreciated song as it seems to get overlooked a lot. But I love the layering of the different sounds, the gradual build, and the beautiful harmonization of the vocals (especially that "harmonized riff" that they mentioned in the video). It is one of my favorite Taemin songs. I love "Drip Drop" too, but I wouldn't call it my favorite. But seeing this reaction to it made me notice things about the song that I hadn't quite heard before, so thank you for that. I will be able to appreciate it even more now.

I can feel the stress of the reactionists as they are told to choose one as their favourite out of two. Taemin's albums are all masterpieces. They have their unique vube and rhythm which make you fall in love with all of them and you can't choose one as the best bcz they are all the best. That's why Taemin is called "king of kpop".
