Well done Dundee. Your new stadium looks great as well as having your own training facilities. Your stadium will likely be done before my teams. I am a Aberdeen supporter.
Considering the proximity to west-end areas like Lochee and Charleston, the club could attract higher attendance numbers than what they would back at Dens.
I think this would be great asset not only for the club but also for the city. A brand new hotel, concert venue and conference centre would enhance Dundee greatly and add to recent city developments. Maybe a joint venture with the city would be the best way to fund.
Dundee city? If both clubs got together? Or just call it the Dundee city stadium 🏟️? It can work if both clubs worked together? Half of the cost? Have a museum representing the history of the 2 clubs? People will come . 👍🏽🏴🏴🏴🤔🤔
Could consider a stadium share with Utd like the Milan teams. Inter and AC share the San Siro. Dundee and Dundee Utd could share the San Junkie Syringe.
Should just buil a 2000 capacity stadium at slesser gardens, already got a pitch there, where are dundee going to find 95m to build a pie in the sky stadium
great for a team that goes into administration every five minutes and had to play their home games miles away in order to get their pitch properly sorted that they struggled to do for years.
Maybe try to grow a pitch first, before wasting £95m on something that’ll be empty most of the time. A better idea would be to build a stadium with Dundee United, who at least, seem to know how to grow grass.
New stadiums put a big financial burden on the club. Dundee have a string of financial disasters behind them. There is nothing to suggest they can find the money for this. Public money is out, benefactor money is out thanks to financial fair play. It's never going to happen. But I really hope Dundee can amaze everyone and get this done somehow. Without scandals, relegations, and everything else that goes along with failed stadium projects. So I admire the ambition and wish Dundee the very best towards getting this done.
This is exactly why they aren’t revamping Dens - need the hotel, conference centre, brewery etc to get the investors their return. It’s not just the stadium being built.
Always gonna be haters saying it wont be built etc.. but unlike some Scottish teams standing still. We're going places seeya in the Nou Campy soon boys 🖕🏻🖕🏻
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 , I think you mean £9.5 million ffs , if they have £95 million for a stadium then they would be up there contesting the spfl ffs , Geeza brek
Wont happen ever. Dundee have no money and hardly any fans. Theyre already in tons of debt Also, why would anyone design a stadium with open corners in 2024?
Good for Dundee FC.
That is going to be an amazing stadium.
I have seen the DFC fans on the brilliant Footy Adventures Channel, fantastic support.
Wish them all the best good for Scottish football

Not a single chance in hell that’ll be built
@@khsmith6242 sure; the ever growing popularity of DFC will sadly force them to build something in the region of an 80,000 plus super stadium.
Looks great, hope it happens for them, Scottish fitba needs brought up to date but just hope they can fund it
Heard a guy called Craig Whyte is interested
Looks brilliant , hope it happens , despite Dundee city council trying there best to muck it up
Looks great. Why not up the capacity so when the bigger clubs fans visit, there is an increase in revenue stream. Best of luck! Celtic fan 😊

Make more sense for Dundee and Dundee United to build a stadium together

So where are they getting the 50-100 million quid to build this?

Why have corners filled on 1 side and open on opposing side???

What’s Dundee’s average home attendance? 2000? Why would you build a stadium that you can’t fill? Madness.

This stuff isnt against ffp. This is what ffp was bought in to do make clubs improve their finances.
FACT that ground once had 43,000 in it there must have been people standing on peoples heads that day
Both teams should merge. Have one cracking stadium and the whole city gets behind them.
Not a chance! That would erase centuries of rivalry between the two clubs and a massive derby. A merged club would be soulless.
@@TheMiniMaestroMan would have a good team tho. You could even compete for 3rd
The 'Awayanliedown Stadium' 😂😂
It looks great but it means Dundee and Dundee United will no longer have the closest stadiums
They've made the cartoon about their stadium, doubt if that will get built!
Making the cartoon is probably most of the budget away...
The old flats are still in the background lol
£95m? Surely we learned years ago about foreign investors coming in with big plans and saddling clubs with debt they can't afford

I'm just waiting on them asking the council to pay for half it. 🤣
