Un hombre que respiraba, comía y bebía rock & roll, Lemmy era Rock & Roll. Tuvimos la suerte de trabajar con él en lo que sería su último concierto en España, de una carrera de más de 40 años, y no podemos estar más orgullosos de haberlo hecho. Todos nuestros respetos y condolencias a la banda, familia y amigos.

Music mourns. Lemmy Kilmister, singer of Motörhead, has passed away. A life dedicated to music and an icon to many generations, among which we include ourselves. A man who breathed, ate and drank rock & roll, Lemmy was rock & roll. We were lucky to work with him in what would become his last concert ever in Spain during his 40-year career, and we can't be more proud of it. All our respect and thoughts to the band, family and friends.

No, he didn't knew, the cancer was diagnosed right before he died.
Lemmy played Spain with a massive brain tumour and died a few months later. the band knew he was ill, Lemmy knew he was ill but they still played. Respect to a real legend.
He started drinking vodka with orange juice instead of his usual. as he said it was healthier. Age 70.
Lemmy died from prostate cancer, cardiac arrhythmia and congestive heart failure God Rest his Soul....
The vodka and orange juice was how he attempted to deal with his diabetes that was brought on by the decades of drinking Jack and Cokes but what the other guy said. It was prostate cancer that he found out he had.

Its what he lived for basically,the last years he had several cancellations due to his condition,didnt do soundchecks and could barely walk after a full set,but a rock`n roll trooper to the end...Respect!

There's that King Diamond live in Philly DVD out there too that I had to laugh at because of the phones in the crowd. And, did I mention, they were filming it for DVD. I saw Motörhead a bunch of times between 2004-2015, including Birmingham 2014 with Philthy & Eddie, twice in 2015 at Hellfest & Glastonbury and this is one of the best shows I've seen! whole band on great form and looks like a cool festival too!

Well, you know what makes me feel good? Two things. 1) Lemmy is almost 70 here and his voice has way more potential than most of today's rappers and shit. 2) We got a good 70 years of Lemmy being alive and 40 years of Motörhead. Judging by the way people treat Motörhead's music today, we didn't deserve Lemmy (or any other Motörhead member) for more than 0.1 nanoseconds. So I'm fucking greatful that God decided he had to stay on earth and play his music. May you Rock the shit out of them up there Lemmy ❤️

There was something else in Lemmy's eyes during this performance,..... still,... he had to feel..."accomplished" by knowing he could still move so many young hearts,...when he was nearly 70,... thats pretty rare,.... to be a good "role model" for all,... in the rock and roll field,... at his age,... was a true gift,.... there'll never be another.........

You know, from time to time I think to myself, "Where's the new Motorhead album? Shouldn't it be already out?" Then I remember that he's gone... Motorhead seemed to be one of the very few constant and reliable things in life. You knew they'd make a kick-ass new album every 2-3 years and you knew they'd be touring almost non-stop and coming somewhere near you at least once every couple of years. It is sad that he's gone but what a legacy he's left behind.

Y pensar que fue la primera y última vez que los vi...A pesar del estado de salud de Lemmy lo dio todo hasta el final, sin duda el mejor concierto de mi vida. Flipé durante todo el concierto, cogiendo al vuelo una de las baquetas de Mikkey tras Overkill, un gran momento a recordar (: Larga vida al rey.
A mi me levantaron en Ace of spades y me pusieron enfrente del escenario,creo que salgo en el 55:04 xD.
