That’s because of a video by a guy named LSmark where he reviewed every episode of the Simpsons and recommended you watch this intro where everyone dies. TH-cam’s algorithm sees a sudden spike and recommends it to people.
Wouldn't be the first time, remember when he was sober enough to be a Helicopter pilot and he saved Bart (and lisa) from a Forest fire? (season 11, episode 18)
Because first off, homer got killed by getting the uranium bar stuck in his throat, next, lisa got hurt by not walking safely, and Maggie tried to drive but Marge won't let Maggie do it, Maggie didn't listen, and Marge drowned, and the only character inside the Simpsons house, is bart, bart is too slow to get back is because barney broke bart's skateboard in half
and the part where all of the citizens are there and almost gets ran over by marge's car? (i think i don't remember the intro well) if marge survived, bart most likely wouldn't
Man it's kinda funny to me that even with how dark this is, they couldn't bring themselves to show Maggie's body floating to the top! And yet, they still were ruthless enough to leave a conspicuous pause there to let us wonder if they were gonna do it!
These deaths are mostly cartoon logic too, like, why was Marge in the backseat while Maggy on the wheel and how did they reach the point in the cliffside before that? Or for another example the "plutonium" bar homer handles fitting perfectly in his mouth to choke him. Lisa's death was most realistic since she fell on her head, but still not necessarily a deadly injury in most cases.

So this episode was actually the first one to be fully animated by The Simpsons' in-house unit at Fox Television Animation - before this, all of the show's animation had been handled by Film Roman since around Season 4. ...I dunno why their first couch gag was so bleak, BUT there are some pretty interesting tells within the couch gag itself. First of all, if you compare the "new animation" (basically all of the shots of the family dying) to the "old animation" (the shots you would usually see in the 2009 intro anyway), the characters in general use more frames in their animation, and the poses are a lot more dynamic. This is, presumably, because Film Roman had a policy at some point in the early to mid 2000s requiring all of the animators to stay perfectly on model at all times, allowing for "cleaner" animation at the cost of less "fun" animation (and also making it easier to simply outsource the grunt work overseas). FTA doesn't seem to have the same policy in place. Episodes from the WABF production season and beyond have more noticeable errors in its animation because of this (check out the couch gag from "Lisa Has the Blues", where Lisa is clearly not positioned correctly on the background, resulting in one of her feet looking like it's floating), but I think it's an acceptable tradeoff for having animation with more personality. Second, during scenes where you're less likely to be paying attention, FTA uses a lot more Flash animation than the previous company did (though The Simpsons Movie did have a few shots that were motion tweened as well, probably animated at the last minute given the abnormal production schedule of that movie, and some bits in the 2009 intro were re-animated by editors using motion tweens). This is actually noticeable in this couch gag right here - when Bart walks into the living room, his initial walk cycle before he starts turning his body is motion-tweened. Finally, FTA uses more CGI on vehicles like Marge's car than Film Roman did (though again, lots of CGI was used in The Simpsons Movie, and the opening camera pan on Springfield has been done in CGI since 2009), but they also only tend to use CGI on things they would reasonably already have a model for from a past episode (like Marge's car). The background while Maggie is driving, for example, is hand-animated, no CGI, no motion tweens, and it's a wobbly janky mess... and I like it. Embrace the jank, fellas!

Homer swallowed the cell in his mouth and fainted.
Lisa: Ugh! (fell to the floor and dropped her saxophone)
Marge: Aaahhh! (She sees Maggie driving the car off the cliff, next a barn, and then the lake. They both fall into it.)
