Thanks!
You’re welcome ☺️
Thank you. Two questions: 1) Nurse at my surgeon's office says that trying to stay with operated leg elevated (with ankle above knee & knee above heart) is not necessary at night. Only as much as possible during the day. Do you agree? 2) In the side sleep position you demonstrated, the ankle on your operated leg does not look any higher than your knee. I assume you believe this is OK?
It really depends on how your swelling is after surgery. Elevation definitely helps with swelling, so if you’re not getting pain or lack of movement from swelling you can rest in whatever position gives you the most relief ❤️🩹
I always sleep on my back regardless. I can't sleep on my sides cuz of me having a rotator cuff, and have hip bursitis. I tried on my side, but within 15 minutes I have to turn on my back. I'm on my 7 month of TKR and I still can't sleep comfortably.
That’s a long haul after surgery, all the best in your recovery 💚
It's been already 2 months since my total knee replacement and still can't sleep comfortably 😫
Sorry to hear that ❤️🩹
