I got the collar for my cat a couple weeks ago and her behavior is night and day. She's being really good but it almost like she's on drugs or something. She's just so chill. I like that her bad behavior was eliminated but wish her energy level was still the same. She is an older cat and her energy levels were already low before the collar . Now she's just super chill all day.
We have tried a collar recently and were wondering about it. It definitely has a major effect as if the cat is drugged . Completely changed the cats personality to be extremely calm and non responsive. This cat was homeless and lived in our area for a long time. long story short it moved in and became very attached. Since it has been with us it developed attachment issues and is starting to spray in the house because we are feeding other stays outside and our cat doesn't like it. The collar is definitely something that changes our cat. We keep putting the color on because she wont stop spraying but we feel bad she becomes like a zombie so we take it off. She is incredibly active and responsive normally, with the collar on she hardly knows we are there.
Erase "dominant" from your vocabulary. Instead try to figure out their level of self esteem - is the cat acting out of confidence, or insecurity? Usually bullies are insecure, even if they're acting tough.
as soon as I put the collar on my cat changed dramatically for the good, she was grooming herself constantly and scratching around her neck area, this was all before I put the collar on. It seemed to stop instantly. After a few months I took it off, she went back to doing the same old thing. Now I just put a new one on, it hasn't changed her bad habits in the least and she has peed on a rug twice within the last month, so I'm not sure whether to keep it on or not?
C R My friend who is a pet behaviorist recommended the Sentry Calming Cat Collar- said that plus the Feliway diffuser should help my very anxious kitten!
Anyone have any experience using the spray with a cat for traveling? Looking for any helpful feedback before I move tmro morning & I have the feliway spray already😊 thank you!
When bringing home a new puppy to two grown cats, can I put a cat pharamone collar on puppy or ? To help keep cats calm. We tried one dog and the dog was older and cats hanged up on the dog.
Would that collar be okay if my other cat licked it while giving the cat wearing it a bath? My neighbors cat keeps creeping in our windows & meowing which is causing my girl cat to act hostile towards our boy cat at times.
Normally I'm home or 20-24 hours during 6 days a week, but on the one day that I'm going all day my cat vomits all over the floors in every room. should I just have her wear the collar on that one day?
For validity, try to say "almost all" or "the majority" rather than "I'd say" followed by a b percentage guess. Percents will alway make your points sound amateur and invalid when coupled with approximation. Percents should 'always' be accurate or not used at all. Fantastic video other than that.

would the diffuser, collar or spray pheromones work to get a very dominant, territorial cat, to accept a new cat?

What brand is the collar. I can't find the feiliway collar, only diffuser and spray. Thanks.

What breed is the cat in the video? She said that specific breed is naturally anxious and I'm curious if that's why my cat has high anxiety too.
Also wondering this! My cat looks very similar and is a high anxiety cat
my cat calmed down but still bitting

personally, I could never work with a cat on set, they’re just too cute for me and I’d constantly go off script and just pet the cat
