Luma Light Bands from Equine-Innovations
I have been using the bands on our Ninja adventures for the past few weeks. You will have seen several of my posts where I am wearing the reflective bands switched off. I have been riding the Ninja in good daylight on a quiet roads and we wanted to see how they were as a comparison to the general relective clothing you can buy.
When I was wearing a dark coloured jacket the rider band was very effective. It stood out and could be seen from a fair distance.
On the chestnut coloured coat we found the neck band was better turned on to be seen from a distance but in near proximity it still stood out turned off.
These bands have battery operated Led Lights to make them brighter than your average reflective clothing. The bands have several settings, you can have them switched on with or without the flashing.
The flashing makes them very effective in the darkness and useful for yards with long driveways between stable and arena where there maybe traffic passing the horses.
The bands are Waterproof and Light weight.
