    If you hydrate the brick in a container that doesn't have holes, it will hydrate up with that first couple of gallons of water without having to refill more and more water.

    Good Vid. Last week (before watching this vid). I did a coco brick in a 20 gal bin and kept adding warm water until it expanded to the max. Hoping to improve my clay soil. TY

    Btw fun fact...Coco does have nutrition, its locked away, its actually reallly high in Phosphorus. The way you retrieve the nutrients is to build a microbial foundation including different types of fungus to break down the coco and retrieve the locked up nutrients. This is mainly beneficial later down the line when your plants are fruiting and all that extra stored Phosphorus will aid in making big and tasty fruits, as well as producing more fruits.

    You should look into activated horticulture charcoal or activated biochar to add to your soil to housed soil microbes in pots and containers.

    U should get a cement mixer. It’s way easier to mix that away.

    Those containers will start falling apart in 2-3 years time so I hope you have future plans to replant them.
