The cab over is pretty cool and in good shape. You could sit that on something and make a neat rig out of it. Thanks for the video 🍺

Making a cool rollback out of it to haul projects would be mint.

Don't scrap the cab. I'm sure in future you will find another truck. Put rear section on it and make it live again. Be a great video of putting it back together

Good runner, I used to get to drive an old f600 hauling shingles to the dump every time we did a tear off it was the high light of the day. Cheers from Jacksonville Florida 🌞

First experience working in your neck of the woods was in HS, during a basketball tournament our van broke a belt while idling at the restaurant for breakfast as it was -70. Since I was the only one knowledgeable and any experience I got the joy of walking to Young’s Napa to get a belt and installing it on the school van.

I can always enjoy the way you give your walk around and show all the setup is needed that should be taken but it always work. Glad to see the old girl come alive after sitting so long. Please keep us with your next project.

ONE of the first jobs I did as a youngster was work on one of these trucks. It was a red dump truck that I also drove for about one summer. Loved it ! Yours has all the right stuff !!

Hey bud, I have 3 1970 c800 cab overs down here in Washington. You have some tilt cab only parts there that I could definitely use. We should talk. I enjoy all your videos! Cheers! Will.

    * Austin I don't envy snow in mid October. It's 60° this week in Michigan. I feel so bad everytime I see that COE mutilated. Those are so cool ! I personally would have sooner seen you save that. Of course there was never any doubt the old Ford engine would run. Baring broken shit you can't kill an old Ford ! Cheers 🍻👊😎👍🍻

I'm glad you found an engine for the F-600, but I'm equally bummed that the cabover had to die. Hopefully you can stumble across a good frame and cobble that nice cab onto it!

You should hang on to that C model cab. It is in pretty good shape. Usually there is a lot more rust in the cab step and lower cab. Keep your eyes open and you'll find a C model truck that's mechanically pretty sound but the cab is rotted out and it will be reasonably priced then you can make a good truck with your cab. Just my two cents worth from an admitted C Ford fan.

If you do want the full experience, take a rear half of another truck, who cares if its a dodge or international or a ford.... what ever it is and is hooked up to the transmission, that is just what it is now. If your like me, make your own bell housing, and put what ever transmission behind of the next engine... In other words, Use this engine for the F600 and then with the remaining parts of the cabover still in tact, put a engine in front of the cabover transmission. Just weld what ever you have hanging around for the rear axle and frame work. Your goofy uncle bob an you can drive the cabover and enjoy having something no one else has. If you were me, I would use a dually pickup rear half and make it a cab over pickup. Now if that doesn't fit in with a backyard mentality, nothing else will. Also, who says it has to be a dually rear, and so maybe a junky old half ton with a six foot box or a flatbed... thats for you to decide
