    This truck is really coming along. Countersunk frame bolts is a notch that not many show trucks even achieve. Gonna be beautiful when you get it the way you want it.

I see a future in this for you... just be your own selves, learn to enjoy how easy this youtube business is. Hi!
    Wow, clean work.
    Question on hiding the frame bolts...
    Will that hold up over time on a working truck?
    Or will frame flex have cracks showing up in the old holes?
    I see huckbolts coming loose on xmembers and suspension hangers, reason I asked...
    Just found your channel.
    I like it!

    • @berrytruckn

      We use the same holes the factory bolts were in, after countersinking them we weld them in. Therefore if done correctly, they should last forever. Good question!

    Like the hidden bolts but how are they as far as everday road use and how are they as far as rail swaps. We are building movers and heavy haulers we have Autocar and Pacific winch trucks and I've been looking at doing a show work truck out of some of our parts Pacifics and I have thought about using plow or counter sunk bolts on all of the frame but in our field we flex and twist on our trucks and we do rail changes on our trucks every 3 years and just wondering if the counter sunk bolts would hold tight with every day use and especially with us that flex our trucks especially when using the winches pulling loads on trailers or pulling buildings or pulling our haul trailers up over rear frame roller. I know our trucks and what we do is completely different from over the road trucks but I see alot of things over the road truckers do to their trucks I'd like to try when I get around to building my working slash show truck, things that wouldn't normally seen done to a Pacific truck.

    • @berrytruckn
      @berrytruckn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sure an application as to you're line of work, they wouldn't be feasible. My truck has a bigger frame rail in it, but being an over the road truck I don't think I would have a problem. But, as always never say never. LOL
