Everyone is applauding you for your Hindi fluency, accent and all that and that somehow has masked the problem you shared in your video. Im from the Northeast side so I can totally understand the weirdness and irritation one gets with all those stares, teasings and the name callings and making fun of our food thingy. I started hating everyone in the beginning when I first moved out from the Northeast. But atleast I was in college during that time and to know you had those thoughts as a kid made me feel so bad. I’m so glad you had that talk with your mom. She as a mother guided you so well and explained so properly. 🤍

I'm from North India, tall and pale complexion and have pretty big eyes but when I laugh my eyes become tiny. So back in school, a guy used to call me 'Chinese'. There were many Nepali and Tibetan students in my school and I used to think "I look like them!?" and I took it as a compliment 😄 bcz I've always found east Asian features to be very beautiful. And when I visited the North East.. Oh god! Pretty people all around.
So for me being called Nepali, North east Indian or even jokingly Chinese is a COMPLIMENT :)

Although I've never lived in any other country as a foreigner but i can totally understand the struggles you faced during your childhood. It takes a lot from a child to bear these kind of behaviour. That time was also different and that too in patna where people's thought process is way behind. From all that I've heard today in this video i can tell that you are very inspiring, you have alot of strength, patience. In that age you tried to change your view, your life is really inspiring. I never saw anyone calling people having mongoloid features chinki at Bodh Gaya, Bihar but I always saw this in Delhi. So you can understand where Bihar stands in this matter. People of Bihar are much more accepting of outsiders than any other part of India. Here no one cares where you're from until you don't reveal or trouble people.

Nowadays due to the Hallyu wave in India, there are so many Kmarts, k cafes and karaoke bars.. I even have had some amazing encounters with the korean ppl who are living here. Really nice ppl. Maybe a bit shy but fun loving ppl. ❤

Wow....just wow......first time hearing a korean speaking so good hindi in bihar/jharkhand style, only after youtuber JUN HAK LEE.
Btw, it's great that you came out of your introvert/depression phase and now is more in peace of mind. Sry, for the alien treatment with you in india from being an indian. I hope the situation will not be same as more and more people to people interaction happens between india and korea. Btw, i am a great admirer of admiral YE SHUN SHIN and his heroic exploits of the imjin war.
Oh btw, regarding your request.....i would love to know what your father did and also your mother....and why your family was in india for so long in the first place, that too in patna.

6:08 Everyone in the comments is appreciating you for your fluent Hindi, but I found no one empathizing with the hardships you went through in your childhood. I am so very sorry to hear your story, you went through a lot as a child. Racism and cultural differences really affect you a lot, and it's sad that you faced such things without anyone to share with. And I congratulate you for enduring it all and turning out to be a good person even after going through it all. All the very best for your bright future! 😇
