Have you ever seen any of the rare 3 tractors joined together as a high horse power puller before the major manufacturers started manufacturing big 4wd tractors ? Need to get some footage of those tractors doing some field work too .
Yeah. It should actually be able to pull a 5 X 16 or even 18 incher without too much trouble. It may need more field weight on the front axle especially.
Remember when i was a kid dad would take the lays to a black smith he would form a point on the leading edge of the lays to help it penetrate hard soils.
@@TKM1951 yes the gearing does need to be matched plus it's easier to get parts from 1 manufacturer rather than 2 different manufacturers if something needs replacing and to synchronize 2 of the same engines compared to trying to synchronize let's say a Canadian built gas Massey Harris to British built diesel Field Marshall . FYI there are also a few guys out there who joined 3 tractors together .
@@jrufussimonsen4718 I've seen several of these type machines made from Farmalls and other American made tractors and they were all home made, I just assumed the BUKH was also home made.
You see something new every day!
The original FWD
Isnt it 4wd tho?
Nice Tandem !

Well.... it's the official "mating day" today anyway ;)
The man with the twin massey 65 seems to be struggling a bit.

Apoears his lays are in need of replacing not going in ground very well. Maybe to dry also i guess

💯
A mouldboard plough must be hard to pull because a MF 65 can pull a 4 furrow disc plough and a TE20 will pull a 2 furrow easy,,
It's pulling hard because the plow isn't set up right. I don't think those guys are farmers.
Are these factory machines or are they two tractors fabricated together by the owners?
They are homemade.
If they are homemade ,I wonder why they are all matched Massey to Massey ,Ford to Ford I wonder is it gearing needs to be perfectly matched

@@bigredc222 No the BUKH is made this way from the factory.
