There's a character called Sharon Rodgers that was created for Captain America's anniversary. I'm not sure where the water and air benders came from, but they too could have came from other developers out there across Marvel multiple properties. I'm guessing them being in the comics fully now means they're 100% canon. No fan fiction here.
Having similiar powers to another character doesnt mean she is a tokenized version of them. Especially since Luna Snow has nothing to do with Ice Man or the X-Men
Oh my fucking god why are you so stupid? Just cause they have the same set with different race doesn't mean it's tokenized. So you're saying here that if there's a white martial hero and there's a Asian martial hero then that means it's just a token?
Original Agents of Atlas: A JSA-esque book with a bunch of interesting 1950s-era characters. I wish I paid real attention to it when it came out because everything I've heard about it sounds like it was awesome. 2019 Agents of Atlas: Okay, let's put all these Asian people on the same team, because they're Asian! And, just remember, when minorities do it, it's not segregation, it's creating a "safe space." God, I hate SJW Marvel...
Yup pretty much couldnt say it any better it's sort of cringy that apparently the luna snow character is a kpop star cause shes Korean idk maybe it's just me I guess I do enjoy the genre of music and all but seems unnecessary
@@marq185 She apparently made her first appearance in the mobile game Marvel Future Fight, which I think was make in Korea. Edit: Just checked. The studio that make the game, Netmarble, is from South Korea.
I wouldn't consider Cindy to be a tokenized Spider-Man. She had a good backstory and history and a pretty lovable character. Amadeus, on the other hand, has sort of evolved to a "smart boi who is really strong.. thats it" kind of character, I liked him before TAH, and Brawn. Great video!
I play future fight a lot and actually use Luna Snow as my main character there (since she is op as f*ck :D) The suit you see in this comic is called Andromeda suit and I really like the desing. If you dont want a character to be skimpy thats how you do it. Hope she sticks, even though her origin story is not all that interesting (AIM attacked Stark Industries when she was performing and she put up a fight so they locked her in a freezer. When she tried to break out some experimental stuff exploded giving her ice powers) she can be an interesting addition. Also on War of the Realms page you can see Sharon Rogers on the right under Morgen Le Fay. She is also a Future Fight original as far as I know, hope she also appears. She hes her Dark Star Armor on which looks a bit silly in my opinion, like her Starlight one much better.
Okay Luna snow Crescent& IO were first introduced v a video game it's on Android and iOS called Marvel future fight. They were original creations of a company called netmarble. They also introduced the daughter of Captain America and Peggy Carter Sharon Rogers who took up the moniker of Captain America.
Maybe it's just me but it feels wrong that the reason they made this team of Agents of Atlas was to sell a MOBA game in the Asian market. I get it, but I don't like it. Especially since I liked the 2000's Agents of Atlas team.
So let me get this straight. They changed Rick Jones into A-Bomb & then replaced him with Amadeus Cho who was then turned into the Hulk? Why do they keep changing all of Hulk's sidekicks & love interests into fucking Hulks?
Man, how many pages is that? I haven't read comics in almost 20 years. To me, that looks like some kind of mini-issue without apparently even a complete story in it. Are people actually paying for snippets like that these days?
I kinda want to support it simply for the original characters. This sounds interesting though obviously, me not being a consistent comic reader, have no idea where this arc came from. Not having access to a comic shop close by and the SJW infesting the industry really limited my ability to get into things. Guess I can actually classify myself as a normie but a normie who wants to be a fan? Not sure. Anyways: Think I might give this a shot
I am not half as knowledgable about comics as you are, but I don't necessarily see the problem with some tokenized characters, as long as they're not just pushing some agenda but actually have an interesting background. I recently started to read up on the Silk comics and actually came to like Cindy Moon quite a bi, though I haven't read really deep into her runs yet. Then again, I also like Spider-Gwen and maybe only am a sucker for spider-verse characters.
"Pan-Asian" school? That is how you know that this is an American comic, because there is lots of bad blood between the countries of East and Southeast Asia. And as to that "White Fox", my suspicion got confirmed when I checked the Marvel wikia and she is claimed to be a Kumiho. A Kumiho or Gumiho is a nine-tailed fox from Korean folklore that is usually quite dangerous (a man-eater). However, according to the wikia her powers are basically just Squirrel girl without the bite and X-23 without the healing factor. Which is odd because Gumihos usually have at least some range of shapeshifting abilities albeit as far as I know not as wide-ranging as the foxes of Japanese folklore (who also can generate fire, illusions and fly). And apparently White fox is a South Korean citizen so why is her code-name White Fox and her name Ami Han instead of e.g huin yeou and Han Yu-bi?
Ha! Reading through the comments, I thought I was the only one who noticed the problem with the 'pan-asian' bit. As to the rest, well, to coin a phrase: 'this is how you know that this is an american comic'. 😉
@@vermis8344 Which is really odd, because this information is not difficult to get. And to be honest, if her powers were more like actual Kumihos, she would be way more badass.
Guys is the air bender and water bender mutants or inhumans or mutantes or magic. Seriously marvel really need to explain their power classification system more often.
i came from hong kong to the US in the 90s. american comic had always respected asian. it is asian that taught batman martial arts. it is asian, the ancient one, that taught dr strange the mystic art. there are countless example such as the hand ninjas, silver samurai, lady deathstrike. asian in comics were always honorable, respected and beautiful. the sjw came along and gave us the asian hulk! why are asian character now bruce banner copycat? sjw gave us characters that no one wants.
I don’t know how else they could introduce an asian team tbh. When they introduced Luke Cage they were digging into black exploitation. Look at him now. Accepted. Asians weren’t even put into the spotlight correctly historically. The old Kung Fu tv series was supposed to star Bruce Lee, instead they put David Carradine, a white man. Iron Fist? A white guy. Kato from Green Hornet, Bruce Lee had to wear a mask because they thought audiences wouldn’t accept him, but as we all know, he became the attraction for that show. Let’s talk about that disservice. Maybe if they slowly introduced these guys into mainstream Marvel the reception wouldn’t be so negative?🤦🏻♂️ I dig Shang-Chi (based off Bruce Lee) and Amadeus Cho. Fleshed out more, they would be more liked imo.
HippieSkippy100 if you can find the Shang Chi omnibus, there’s three I think because he had a comic and a B/W magazine, but he’s pretty well written. I’m still trying to plug holes in my MoKF collection.

I'm guessing them being in the comics fully now means they're 100% canon. No fan fiction here.
Its now, 2022, and none of these characters matter now.
Whats Beast boy doing in a Marvel comic?
I haven't even started the second act, I stopped at uncanny xmen tie in.
Btw the new intro is sick
New original characters at the house of ideas!? Insanity
I'm interested in hearing more about this story. I don't see how Snow isn't an Iceman token though.
And, just remember, when minorities do it, it's not segregation, it's creating a "safe space."
God, I hate SJW Marvel...
@@harlannguyen4048 ah I see makes sense then
Lol gee a pop star with superpowers where have I seen that before well any way I'm sure she'll be a real dazzler haha
Interesting and refreshing.
Youre one of my favorite comic expert and being a libertarian doesnt hurt ✊ to be honest an all asian team is cool
All these tokens and no arcades... why couldn't I have all these tokens when I was 6 and in Chuck E Cheese?
Meanwhile..... Sarah Connor has been going hard since forever.
Not really into War of the Realms, but these new characters seem interesting. Hopefully Disney won't Bogart them from Marvel like they did Big Hero 6.
I hope at least one of them is a mutant
Man, how many pages is that? I haven't read comics in almost 20 years. To me, that looks like some kind of mini-issue without apparently even a complete story in it. Are people actually paying for snippets like that these days?
Shout out to the Future Fight originals!!
Is that a Greg Land Storm cover behind you?
She look like an island girl with atlantic outift
Who keeps making giant robots for no reason.
Is that allowed? I thought you were required to take existing characters and just make them asian.
Isn't this arc (War Of The Realms) where Thor gets a new arm? I saw a spoiler about it online. Don't know if it's legit or not.
You gotta do a Flash Year One vid
It is really good if they do apolaki king of volcanoes as super villain or hero hahaha
Where my future fight niggaz at?
Guys is the air bender and water bender mutants or inhumans or mutantes or magic. Seriously marvel really need to explain their power classification system more often.
Mutant- born with the X-Gene develops powers usually around puberty
Mutate- A human given power through un natural means (Spider-Man, Deadpool, Hulk)
Tutu pele is also mother Gaea
i came from hong kong to the US in the 90s. american comic had always respected asian. it is asian that taught batman martial arts. it is asian, the ancient one, that taught dr strange the mystic art. there are countless example such as the hand ninjas, silver samurai, lady deathstrike. asian in comics were always honorable, respected and beautiful. the sjw came along and gave us the asian hulk! why are asian character now bruce banner copycat? sjw gave us characters that no one wants.
What route would you have taken with the character Amadaeus cho then?
since him getting the powers of the hulk passed to him, making him Brawn was a lousy decision of writing to you.
I heard that Marvel allegedly bought Aero from a chinese manga series. Do you happen to know anything about that?
Is this a review? I was hoping you would jive your opinion about the book.
Maybe if they slowly introduced these guys into mainstream Marvel the reception wouldn’t be so negative?🤦🏻♂️
I dig Shang-Chi (based off Bruce Lee) and Amadeus Cho. Fleshed out more, they would be more liked imo.
HippieSkippy100 if you can find the Shang Chi omnibus, there’s three I think because he had a comic and a B/W magazine, but he’s pretty well written. I’m still trying to plug holes in my MoKF collection.
A C - thanks man, I really like this character. (I know he’s tokenized Bruce Lee, so what, he’s cool)
