    Btw what wind controller you using?

  • @emanuel_soundtrack
    @emanuel_soundtrack ปีที่แล้ว

    is there any reason why you don´t use the gain plugin as send? cause then you can see how much you added. I just use on intrument to decrease. I find funny that you also use this plugin like me, not much fader. I use the faders in the final stages. Only thing that annoys me now is the low latency mode affecting gain staging for the recording, so i do the cc with a bad reference for levels

    • @ZachHeyde
      @ZachHeyde  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's an interesting idea--I usually keep sends exclusively for reverbs, as my effects buses are routed by stem group (so all winds are using the same sends for reverb, for example). But gain via send seems useful too!

    • @emanuel_soundtrack
      @emanuel_soundtrack ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ZachHeyde so i have an overview of the gain adjustments (at gain stage level, not mixing). But i don´t know if this is a good practice, or the consequences for latency/phase. Unfortunely it doe snot work for gain reduction ; otherwise i would have two sends (boost, and reduction).
