I think the real reason that Bambi and family speak English in these videos is due to the fact that she wants to reach more viewers that if they all spoke Dutch. Obviously these videos pay for a lot of her flying. I have no argument with this and good luck to the girl. I only wish that I could have done this when I learnt to fly but in those far off days it just wasn't technically possible. I really enjoy her videos and look foreward to her posting new ones. well Bambi was educated in a US international school in Tanzania hence her American Accent, and for the rest of the family, Dutch peoples command of the English language is surprisingly good, for the most part they speak English well, especially the younger generations.
You present confidence and professionalism. Your videos are wonderful, comforting and pleasant. You are a super presenter and I hope you continue for as long as you are so enthused and happy and that you do so in the best of health. Thank you for sharing.

Love your videos, besides being an aviation enthusiast, I am also a Boeing, Airbus and many more aircraft (to many to mention)Licenced Aircraft Maintenence engineer, but did my ppl in a Cirrus SR20. Really like your videos and the details like your preflights and your tower communication skills, very impressed, very important for a safe flight and most importantly you don't push the boundaries. Well done.
Such nice to see, you can spend your time in SA with your parents there too. So beautiful the 4 of you explorering the south coast together. I have to admit that I was surpriced how beautiful it is in that area. I said atleast 6 times "wow". So please keep posting the nice videos.
I so love this! Flew Cessna 172 as well as a Jet Provost T3A from Cape Town Intl. with a friend. Also flew gliders from Worcester airfield and visited Stellenbosch airport when i lived in Somerset West in 2009! Enjoy and please keep making awesome videos!

@@PilotBambi I flew AS-K 13 and Astir - but the highlight was a ridge-flight in a Janus. If you are lucky you might catch mountain wave from Worcester. I did not - but thermals and ridge flying was also really great! Also really great people at the Cape Gliding Club!
Is that your mom and dad with you. My grandparents and my folks retired in Plett and have been going there since 1961 as a 1 year old. Love Plett as it recharges my soul.
As a South Africa, I never knew that Langebaan has a restrictive fly zone near the Agulus area. The town of Langebaan and the Langebaan air field, actually Air Force Base is up the northwest coast from Cape Town (approx. 100kms)! You might be referring to the Overberg Missile testing area near Arniston.

Just a correction for your Dad. Heading out East, the military TMA that was on your route of flight, was the Overberg TMA, not the Langebaan TMA. Langebaan is up the West Coast. South African Air Force pilot from many years ago, here 😊

I want to clarify 😊 you are a amazing pilot & love your ambitions and outlook on life & flying! I’m not a “pilot “ but have logged quite a few hrs throughout my lol short life....& just started with helicopters 😊 I absolutely love & you make it look easy but as you know it’s not 😬😬😬 luckily I’m a heavy equipment operator so it comes easier to me since I’m used to using hands & feet together to be able to “hover” the hardest part.... I think 🤷🏻♂️ ! But I love your channel and 😬😬😬 you as well ! I started flying with my older friends in a Cessna @ age 15 & fell in love as you did! Stay safe & I would fly wherever to meet you & get a few hrs flying with my idol 😊 ps: I also skydive..... 1st jump solo with 2 instructors.... not attached 😎 & also a volunteer Firefighter for 25+ years so like you.... I’m a adrenaline junkie 😊😘 safe flying!!!! Enjoy life & your passion! Xo TS

How often do you calculate your CG when you fly as a private pilot? And yes, your sunglasses are sweet, I have a pair of FlyingEyesOptics myself and absolutely love them! 👍
