@@chataignevendemiaire НКВД тоже этим грешил. Если ты не знаешь то эти 2 тысячи убитых мирного населення общие жертвы погибшие от рук лесных братьев, НКВД и их истребительных батальонов.
A few comments on the video, the lyrics and the translation (not meant in offense, thanks for making the video, Estonia like): "Velled" is not the normal word used for "brother" in most places, it's kinda like an informal version, but some places use it a lot as the dialect is different (even for a relatively small country). Mainly, you'd use "vennad", from the singular word "vend", to actually mean "brothers" or "brother" respectively, whereas "velled" would be used kinda like "bro" is. It means "brother" in an informal way, but you rather use it for close friends who are like brothers to you. Second, a spelling mistake, in the line "Niin meil ei ole senti raha." it should actually be "ning", not "niin", but simple thing. Also, the better translation for the line would be "And we don't have a cent of money" in direct translation, and the translation in this video is a little too off from that. In the line "ja me ei saa, ei või, ei taha," it wouldn't really be "won't" for "ei või". In Estonian, the difference between "ei saa" and "ei või" is that the first one means that we literally can't, it's not possible, whereas the latter means that we aren't allowed to, aren't permitted to, but is possible. However, minor fact rather than correction, as it would mess with the lyrics too much to be worth it. The line after that, to start off, adds a "we" at the beginning, even though it isn't supposed to be there. Second, it capitalizes the first letter of "tiblat", coming from the singular "tibla", which is an insult towards soviets, so it is probably capitalized because, when you look at it without knowing it's an insult, which very well could happen, you'd think it's a name. Also, it's less so "Bloody russian" than it is more like saying "commie bitch" and "dirty ruski" in one word, but pointed only towards soviets. You might hear a slight variation or two in definition based on where you are in Estonia, but the one I pointed out is the actual universal one. The verse after it, about blackberry coloured eyes, would be better translated as "and/because your blackberry black eyes," than "and/because your eyes, black as blackberries,". At the end of the verse, "on võitnud minu südane." should be "südame" instead of "südane", simple spelling mistake. There's a comma in line "me ikka au sees hoiame," but a capitalized "ja" in "Ja koidikul siis selgitame". A mistake in both English and Estonian. There should be a comma in "ja koidikul siis selgitame", like so: "ja koidikul siis selgitame,". This is because the rules of Estonian commas states that a sentence with multiple verbs in it must be separated by commas 9 times out of ten (this is one of those 9 times), and because there is the verb "selgitame" in the line and the line after has "on", another verb, basically "be", a comma should separate the two lines instead of nothing. Maybe the same in English, not sure, I can never remember so I go by heart (I think no comma in English). The line "kes meist on õige eestlane." should really be translated to "who's the real Estonian among us." because, although the translation for "real" is commonly "päris" or "tõene", it changes slightly with context, and in this case, it would be "real" over "true". Also, the translation as a whole should be "who the real Estonian among us is." due to the subtle difference of "on" not being at the end of the sentence. Lastly, throughout the song "ai-tših/tšah/velled", the "ai" part would be our Estonian version of "hey", more accurately " 'ey " or " 'ay ", like when you try to gather attention of people, " 'ey boys, check it!" type of thing. Also, if you couldn't figure it out, the "š" is pronounced like "sh" is in words like "shower" or "shine". Once again, wanna point out that I mean no disrespect, you've done a great job here, but I thought sharing my native Estonian knowledge of language and culture would be fun, educational or helpful. Also, for funsies, here is the song translated directly into English (I'll put stuff into parentheses at times to make it easier to understand what it means, but it's not part of the translation): "There (in the) on-the-edge-of-the-forest little house, where lived my parents. There (in the) on-the-edge-of-the-forest little house, have a nest made reds. Ay-tshih ay-tshah, ay-tshah, ay-bros! We, forest brothers, are. Ay-tshih ay tshah, ay tshah, ay-bros! We, forest brothers, Estonians. And we no have (a) cent (of) money, we have to (in the) woods live, and we no (possible) can, no (allowed) can, no want, no want ruski serve. Ay-tshih ay-tshah, ay-tshah, ay-bros! We, forest brothers, are. Ay-tshih ay tshah, ay tshah, ay-bros! We, forest brothers, Estonians. And your blackberry-black eyes, no ever, ever (be) forgotten. Cause your blackberry-black eyes, have won my heart. Ay-tshih ay-tshah, ay-tshah, ay-bros! We, forest brothers, are. Ay-tshih ay tshah, ay tshah, ay-bros! We, forest brothers, Estonians. And our flag, blue-black-white, we still honour inside hold, and (at) dawn then explain, who (out of) us is right Estonian. Ay-tshih ay-tshah, ay-tshah, ay-bros! We, forest brothers, are. A few comments on the video, the lyrics and the translation (not meant in offense, thanks for making the video, Estonia like):
"Velled" is not the normal word used for "brother" in most places, it's kinda like an informal version, but some places use it a lot as the dialect is different (even for a relatively small country).
Also, for funsies, here is the song translated directly into English (I'll put stuff into parentheses at times to make it easier to understand what it means, but it's not part of the translation):
"There (in the) on-the-edge-of-the-forest little house,
where lived my parents.
There (in the) on-the-edge-of-the-forest little house,
have a nest made reds.
Ay-tshih ay-tshah, ay-tshah,

We, forest brothers, are.
Ay-tshih ay tshah, ay tshah,

We, forest brothers, Estonians.
And we no have (a) cent (of) money,
we have to (in the) woods live,
and we no (possible) can, no (allowed) can, no want,

Ay-tshih ay-tshah, ay-tshah,

We, forest brothers, are.
Ay-tshih ay tshah, ay tshah,

We, forest brothers, Estonians.
And your blackberry-black eyes,
no ever, ever (be) forgotten.
Cause your blackberry-black eyes,
have won my heart.
Ay-tshih ay-tshah, ay-tshah,
ay-bros!
We, forest brothers, are.
Ay-tshih ay tshah, ay tshah,
ay-bros!
We, forest brothers, Estonians.
And our flag, blue-black-white,
we still honour inside hold,
and (at) dawn then explain,
who (out of) us is right Estonian.
Ay-tshih ay-tshah, ay-tshah,
ay-bros!
We, forest brothers, are.
Ay-tshih ay tshah, ay tshah,
ay-bros!
We, forest brothers, Estonians."
