Had the original toy from the 60's, loved it as a kind. The new version is a huge let down, surprised it doesn't come with a make up kit and eye shadow.
I was sooooooo excited to hear about the long awaited reissue of the attache case, but the changes from the original are just too severe for me to back.
Just got mine after heavy discount (still cost me £195 before postage though). I found it to be cheaply made and very plasticky, not worth the heavy price tag at all and the anti-gun changes (although to be fair the camera is technically a disguised gun) make it even worse. Thanks for your review. Hoping to do my own review soon.
I got it discounted as well. The original price was laughable considering all of the changes, and I knew it would go down eventually because they were never going to sell enough of them.

Great review however, it is sad to see that the pussification of James Bond continues. Perhaps the 00's can photograph enemies to death.
Technically the camera is a disguised gun, but yes I agree. The whole thing is massively overpriced too.
