You missed eating the Misal with farsan and paav. Its one of the best thing Maharashtra has to offer. Do try Misal Paav again! Search on youtube for how to eat it. You will love it…
@@divyamrathi299 I like the Shivneri Misal available all around Pune. Never tried the Mumbai or Nashik one though! All Misals are awesome in my opinion :D
You should try two restaurants in Mumbai which are like some of the high end fine dining restaurants in Europe. These restaurants have created a twist through innovation on Indian cuisine. 1) Masque 2) Tres Ind.
Always nice to see your india vlogs thoroughly enjoying Jessica always soft spoken and down to earth earth person and little alfonso is too cute as well lots of love ❤️ keep doing great and keep rising and shining ♥️
I love that little Alfonso asked for the tomatoes! 😃 Tip: The Misal should be eaten with pav (basically like pav bhaji). And you want to squeeze lime on top of the modal. Love all your videos of India (including showing us the hotel and hotel buffet!!). Thank you! @alfonsoandjessica 🤗 happy new year!!
When in Bangalore try the legendary places like MTR (100 years old), Vidyarthi Bhavan (70+), Brahmins Coffee Bar (50+), Dwarka (50+) for the best south india fare. All these places are in South Bangalore (which is the old Bangalore). For non-veg Shivaji Military Hotel and Meghnas are the best as per my friends (I am veg).
Happy New Year to all of you. Since you are in Mumbai now try to go into the hills, Lonavla is the nearest hill station, just two hours away by road or train. You will enjoy it.🌲🌲🌲💐💐
hey guys always a pleasure to see you enjoying the food. hope you also paid a visit to muhammed ali road. it is one of mumbai's best food street areas 😊❤️⭐️👌🏽
Minerva Coffee House at Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad must visit if you like South Indian food like Dosa, Idli, Vada, Uttappam, and don't miss the Filter coffee. Nilofeur's on Road no 1 Banjara Hills also a must visit for a nice Indian tea with plenty of variations. Also good side dishes with tea must try Osmania Cookies.
Nice hotel. Humm. you could do a walk through the Mumbai area (marine drive, GW to India and Taj Hotel, while hitting up the Taj Restaurant). Anyway, great, hope you had a great new year (celebrations in India?)
You van get chai without sugar even on small Tea stalls across India You need to just ask them to make it without sugar and they will make it ( Its quite normal to ask this)
India is not only about#Mumbai,Delhi,Kolkata, Hydrabad, Bangalore, Chennai,.or any other mainland cities..But there is also the 7 Northeastern states, like #Assam,Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh,Nagaland, etc with diverse food, culture, nature and scenic beauties at evey steps... But the sad part is that there is no one to provide you information about those states, they are so underrated states....
Misal is beans cooked with some particular spices, thats then covered with some onion and tomato diced and then eaten with a bun, its spicy, This originates in Maharashtra state (Mumbai, pune etc)
you should try maharashtrian thali becoz you always try north and south indian food coming to maharashtra you should try maharashtrian thali alphonso will love modak like sweet momo and starter like kothimbir vadi i.e made of coriander even fish food of maharashtra is mind blowing i.e Fish thali misal pav also….. you’ll get all popular maharashtrian dishes in dadar lalbaugh.
I born in Gujarat, India. My all family live in Mumbai. Good chai tea and Indian foods that good healthy. Colaba polite place very nice. I moved to New York City now
In kerala Kochi please go to Grand Hotel for Lunch and order their "Fish curry meals" or "Veg meals" then order a curry meen fry with your food. Thats the best lunch you will find in whole of Kochi in terms of traditional lunch.
When going to Kerala you have to go to Alleppey backwaters for a Houseboat ride for an overnight stay. Take the one with AC. Also visit Picturesque Munnar, Athirapilly Waterfalls, Kozhikode / Malabar Foods, Wayanad Nature and Varkala Cliff. If it was another time I would have recommended Thrissur Festivals too. Not just visit Kochi alone. You have to experience Kerala better. Your family and you will love that for sure. Don't miss the Kerala seafood, Sadhya, Porotta & beef combo, Lots of other snacks, ...
I would probably eat the waffle with my hands. For cut fruits I will use a fork. Also fyi the bhaji in pav bhaji and puri bhaji are same same but different
Did Jessica say - sound from a CD? LMAO! What era were CDs from? hahahahahaaa That dark gravy that you thought was chickpea is from a dish called Misal and is usually served with pav...if you do get a chance try the dish by itself...its this super spicy dish that is often had as a breakfast dish in Maharashtra!
Poori Bhaji :- We eat Potato Peas Bhaji & Plain Roti as Daily Breakfast with Curd Salad etc.. Poori is occasional thing like on festivals or weekends etc.... bcoz it is oily.
Yes Marsala Porridge or Masala Oats is same thing, (just referred to by different names), I dont like plain white Oats, I always have the masala one, gives it so much taste and can eat full plate, plain oats i hate, cant get beyond 3-4 spoons with plain one, just like maggi noodles comes with a satchet for adding flavour, so does masala oats, just add to oats and its ready. Masala oats is a acquired taste, more you eat, more you love it, eventually cant have plain oats
Looks like a premium hotel with lot foreigners and wealthy indians as guests. The only thing that irks me is the waffle. It is not supposed to be this hard to cut through. Overall enjoying the videos, ignore the few hate comments, some people feed off negativity, and wants their hate to be seen and read
