    I can never understand how crochet works, but I love watching it!

      I could never "get it" either, and I tried a few times since the women of my family were all great fiber artists. I tried again a couple of months ago, and I finally got it. It turns out I'm really good at it even... so, every so often, you should give it try. You could end up being great at it too ☺️ for me, the act of doing it caused it to start making sense to me

    I am loving all of your plant DIY's! I recently moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend and in about a month we went from 1 plant to 24 plants, and I am definitely on the hunt for ways to really jazz them up.

    I absolutely love this. I made a black one and it's so beautiful. Much easier to me than macrame and just as lovely.

    The cotton one was the best. However, I will try different yarns and see what happens. Nice work and pattern. thanks

    You are such a cutie! I'm so happy I found your channel. I just shared this video on Pinterest. I'm so glad that I found this video, because my daughter wants me to make her a hanger to hold the crocheted succulent garden that I made her.
    Thank you for sharing your pattern and your time. You are a living doll ❤️

      I'd much rather make one with my own last minute touches, than buy something everyone else has 😊 I appreciate your info very much! Your a great teacher! 👍

    Try adding beads to the ends of the twine tassel. It should give each strand enough weight and straighten it out- should look better

    Try dipping the twine piece in hot water then blocking it . It may give a shape you would like. I like the twine texture though, it has a cottage feeling

    Maybe wetting the twine tassel and use a clip to hold it and until it drys, and maybe it will hang straight. 🤔 Twine is tricky. Great video.

      You could use a delicate hanging plant which would look good

    I like the tutorial, it shows what works and what doesnt :) without me to actually do the work . I do know l dont like tassels... if you have to take the hanger to sink it will fall over :(

    I love that this doesn’t look like it would squish the top of the plants while getting them in or while it hangs.
    (With longer straps of course :)

    I wonder if the twine tassel (if you haven't cut it off yet) could be improved if you used a flat iron (like for hair) to try and straighten the strands a bit? Otherwise I think both hanger look great! :)

    • @chezlin
      @chezlin  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I might try that next. Currently I have some weight clipped onto the ends to help pull the twine straight. If that doesn't work I may try some heat.

    Thank you!!! I love it!!
    Is it me or does this go kinda like a granny square? I'm trying to relearn stuff after a bad TBI. I used to rock at crochet but now its just so frustrating...pause, rip, rewind...repeat lol. I got this...thanks so much for your help.
    I'm a full time RVer cuz of the accident and am looking forward to having the level spaces open. It's gonna look SO nice. I'm using Red Heart love metalic in light grey.

    I live in a smaller bumper pull camper. Over the summer people had given me some plant starts. Now I'm wanting to hang them so I can have my level surfaces back lol.
    Could this be made into a multi tiered hanger?

    could you iron/steam the twine tassel to make it less disheveled looking? I really enjoyed the tutorial :)

    • @chezlin
      @chezlin  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Right now I clipped some weight onto it to try to pull it straight and I'm leaving it like that for a while to see if that helps. If that doesn't work I may try an iron and/or steam!
