You only need to remove the branches that are touching the dirt, leave the rest they are what helps to feed your plant and gives the tomato shade , it also helps to use a tomato or veg fertilizer . make sure you have holes in the bottom of your pots for drainage and water them well in the morning ..

Prayers for you , my husband cancer has came back for the 3rd time and he on chemo , but I have faith God will heal him, Here is a prayer for healing from cancer:

"Let your presence fill me with faith and hope, knowing that your power is greater than any cancer and you are with me as I continue to fight the good fight to free my body of this disease. Merciful Jesus, you have compassion on the sick and heal them". We read a prayer for healing of cancer daily and I pray all whom is going through life with cancer is healed and have faith of a mustard seed.
Tomato plants have a lot of branches, just cut the tiny “suckers” in the V of the branches. Fertilize, fertilize, fertilize miracle grow is great. Your plants will be dark green and branches thick. My dad grew the best tomatoes! They’d be like 6 feet tall.
I grow everything in pots and sacks, so I can move them if needed and I find it easier than trying to manage beds. You could take it all around the corner and utilise the side space. Pallets are great for keeping them off the grass and you can build them into different levels and your walls/fence will be great for your climbers. Love watching plants grow 😆 I watched you cut all the celery the other day and wondered what you did with the base, you should also set it in water to root and it will grow. I'm no expert but do have a video on how to grow from scraps if you are interested. Lx

Good Morning Amy. One thing I found when container gardening, is that I needed to add nutrients (feed) my plants or my cucumbers came out weird shapes and a little dense in texture. But all those blossoms will turn into cucumbers and it will be so yummy!!!

If you trim tomatoes, trim out suckers, what grows out at stalk and branch. If there is a bud , leave it don’t trim. A great reference for gardening would be utube “Root and Refuge” Jess is a great source of gardening help.

You are cutting the "feeders/suckers" off of the bigger, healthier branches. That's what I understand the point of cutting is.
Don’t cut because each of those branches grow because they are going to produce tomatoes.Farmers don’t go out and cut all their plants and they let them grow. The more branches the more tomatoes.

It has been said that housework is not usually noticed, unless it isn't done. Although, as a little girl, I always noticed how clean and pretty my paternal grandmother's house always was, when we visited her! She was a cleaning angel! She even hummed while she worked! Even her garage was perfectly clean! That was over 60 years ago! She's probably up in Heaven humming right now! 😇❤🙏

Amy your doing the tomato plants right. On the package is says some shade not full sun. And I found if I water early in the morning and late at night they do better because they get more of the water instead of middle of the day. Because in middle of the day the sun takes most of the water in vapor.

I start my day with you and I enjoy it.
I want to share with you what I do to my spaghetti sauce. I add one block of cream cheese, a can of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream and garlic powder (to your taste) I almost forgot to say add cheese. What ever cheese you like and how much you like. Oh my, let me say my kids and grandkids absolutely love this.

Saw someone put holes in bottom of milk jug along with rocks and fill with water and it was a slow watering process for plants. Also love bologna…especially fried!

An expression I use about opinions. Opinions are like rear-ends. Everyone has one. And, no matter what no two opinions will ever be exactly alike.
I cannot believe how much time these people have to sit, watch your channel, then take the time to critic. It's crazy. I agree with Maddy. They need Jesus. She 's a smart young lady.
I remember when my kids were babies. Everyone had opinions on how I should care for my children. I would politely listen, and I would use what was suitable for my life. I view TH-cam much the same. If God wanted that person's style used on my children, God would have given them MY children instead of me. He didn't. God wanted my style (good, bad, or indifferent) used on my kids. I don't even do things exactly the same as my own best friends. They are not wrong and I'm not wrong. Each household and personalities are different. Those people taking the time criticize need to get a life.
I've found your meal planning helpful. Do I cook the exact same foods? Not always. However, I do the same process with my own food. My husband and kids have loved the pre-made breakfast sandwiches/burritos. They have made my very early morning SO much easier. I always knew I wanted to do something, but I could not wrap my foggy brain around implementing it. You broke it down for me, and I'm grateful.
I'm sure someone will have something negative to say about my opinion. Such is life!

Hey Amy! 😃 Plant leaves are like solar panels - they give the plant energy to produce new fruit. The more leaves you cut, the less energy the plant will have to produce more fruit. When you cut or prune a tomato plant, you want to focus on the leaves/branches that are yellowing (i.e. not producing energy) and branches that are close to the soil (which will probably be yellowing). And it's true that they like full sun. Remember the solar panels - that helps them a lot! 😃 Tomatoes stop setting flowers or even start dropping flowers/fruit when it gets over 95F, so if it's not that hot, then it's OK to set them out in full sun. If it's getting close to that temp or above, then you might want to look into shade cloth (the budget way would be getting light colored tulle, a bed sheet or burlap) or place your tomato plant where it only gets morning sun and afternoon shade (usually the east side of the yard).

Amy, at Walmart, Great Value brand has a French Vanilla and plain Cold brew coffee ( usually near the orange juice section) and you can add whatever creamer to it. It’s delicious, and cheaper than the Starbucks.

Amy our washer and dryer is pretty old. I’d like a front load like yours but I’ve seen reviews where people complain the front loaders get moldy. Have you had that problem yet? What brand is your set?
Only frontloaders in Austria, leave the door open, just a few inches. No mold. And a cleaning circle once a month if you don't do very hot washes regularly.

You will only get a couple cuttings off your green onions. Don’t cut your tomatoes you will not get very many tomatoes. If you want to cut them wait until you get more tomatoes. Your tomato plant is going to die. You have cut way too much.

Been a KB fan since he was with Hendricks. Have always called him out on bad behavior, which nearly always coinsides with him having a high frustration with his performance. Amy you really should give your tomatoe plants at least 2 or 3 hours of direct sunlight for big flavourful tomatoes, I speaking from my experience, good luck ♥️🙏🏻🇨🇦
They get more than that ..about 5 hours is that good
@@amymaryon I didn’t realize you actually put them out in direct sunlight, I’m sorry for being a busybody hahaha, 5 hours is great and I also kept my tomatoes plants trimmed of non flowering leaves for better air flow and allowing all the nutrients to go to the tomatoes just like what you’re doing. I think you’ll be happy with your cucumbers and zucchini growing up on your wire cages, I started doing that after three years of having my plants take over so much of my garden bed and I loved the results, I used a medium weight wire panel for more stability plus it looked impressive lol, happy gardening ♥️🙏🏻🇨🇦

Let the kiddos keep some of the shark teeth on their dressers/keepsake boxes, etc.
I would try adding some fertilizer to your plants. Veggie plants are often heavy feeders and will need some boost to produce well. Especially potted ones. Or at least from my experience. Your tomatoes need those leaves 😅. Also your onions should keep producing greens, they may miss the sun if they aren’t getting any . I have always been told if u stick your finger into the dirt if it isn’t damp all the length of your finger than it’s too dry . Not telling you how to grow YOUR plants just what I have been taught from generations before, everyone is different!

You shouldn't cut off branches. Always grew tomatoes and never cut off branches and had lots of tomatoes.should not cut branches off cucumbers either.
only suggestion: you can use a hot glue gun and make bracelets out of the shark teeth, put a piece of cardboard on a table etc./ then a piece of parchment paper, and place the shark teeth down/ then completely/partially cover the shark teeth, and then when it dries you can take and pick up and glue the ends together, just leave a little room for it to slide/on and off wrists, i have done this with a ton of stuff for my daughter when she was younger she had so many different bracelets , buttons, shells, even tiny rocks like very tiny lol, she liked it maybe yours will too...
