Llanberis Bomb Store Snowdonia

in this video we took a visit to the abandoned llanberis bomb store, it took us a while to find but eventually it was worth the effort. the history on this site is massive with many years of bomb recovey undertaken when the site closed including pumping a entire lake to expose what was dumped beneath.

I'm going there Friday. Where abouts did you get down to it? I heard the main door to get inside was locked earlier this year but obviously not 😂

The main entrance is locked mate, email me you should find the email on my profile and I can show u on google maps later when I get home from work. Theirs a way from the quarry side.

That river looking thing could have been a train track used for bringing in the bombs to be sored

Yes that's exactly what it was, brought tons of bombs ect into the store and inside their old lifts that were used to store them on the second floor ect.

Shame is so much graffiti in there now. Used to be able to find stencil drawings from the 40s on the walls. Bet most are covered up now by that crap tagging
