Many images can make a picture book for children. So this language of pictures can translate into any language because all languages have words for the images. We all have children's understanding compered to God and jesus said "suffer the little children to come on to me for such is the kingdom of God". Jesus uses images to tell stories when teaching. When you learn the images as a child you grow in knowledge you learn words from the images then become more knowledgeable. You learn how to speak and to have a conversation. Well its is like that with the kingdom of God. So when jesus is telling a parable he is communicating a different message that only people who are in the kingdom of God will understand. The father's children are the one who believe in the God of Abraham and their scripture contains the meaning of the images. This is how he had crowds 5000 strong those people knew the images and there word's. If you don't let the author tell you how to understand Scripture. And you don't follow it in the way the author intended you to. And you are not using christs teachings you are being antichrist and denying the holy spirit the author of Scripture. Your comment helped me with my own struggle with my place of employment..... its my job to follow Jesus and let the rest take care of itself, while following His guidance, leading, and direction, which is to "let go" of the situation and keep being a good example, do my best, and focus on Him.😁
Just remember, our God is bigger than any issue we face. He knows ALL the circumstances surrounding it, that we do not. Trust in Him to handle it, according to His will. Once you trust and have faith in that, you will have let go and let God take it from you. You'll feel different and just watch how He works in it. God IS SO Good!!!!
Most emotional moment for me was when John broke the chains that held him captive. He is truly free now. ✝️🕊️

The Chosen has really changed my life. Made me to love others unconditional.
Thank you for the chosen series. Its giving me the strength to go on. Im handicapped and cant walk very good. Cant work. Im battling very aggresive cancer. And Im facing more surgury for botched original cancer surgury. I have massive hematoma. I cant find dr. thats willing to do surgury. Its causing my arm to be mostly paralized. Watching this series reminds me that Jesus is with me, and loves me thru this terrible journey. And im forgiven for wanting to just give up. Also when i was 3 years old, i died and went to heaven. Jesus, or disciple appeared in this beautiful field of flowers. He was in white robe. He told me I needed to go back. That my mommy and daddy needed me. And others in my future would need me. I do hope i have helped some people over the years. Please pray for healing of my cancer, hematoma, lymphadema in legs and arm, severe knee and ankle arthritis, and bad cataracts. Also I lost my health insurance. Thanks so much for the series. It has helped me mentally and spiritually. ❤❤🙏🙏😢😢😭😭

The holyspirit wrote Scripture through men of God and all scripture is inspired by God. Ok lets talk about it the holyspirit wrote Scripture through men of God so the holyspirit God's wisdom is the understanding scripture is written in and this how it is inspired by God. Jesus taught a doctrine of spirit his teachings are his wisdom because God is a trinity the father son and holyspirits understanding is the father's and son's wisdom also.
As Jesus said you must eat my flesh and drink my blood because Jesus's blood is living water the same wisdom and understanding that wrote Scripture through men was the same understanding Jesus's was teaching. So without the holyspirit understanding we cannot know what God is saying

I see both Matthew and Simon Peter living out what we call The Lord's Prayer- 'and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us'....help us to forgive as You have forgiven us Amen

I consider the characters in this series my best friends now. Each night, I pop an episode to settle in the night and to calm myself. It’s like having a deep talk with friends. My thoughts clear, and I become closer to God once again. I would be okay even if all TV shows disappear except The Chosen. It’s an anchor to my soul!
We were in Saudi Arabia during Season 1 and my boy was 8.
He grew up along with the seasons and now, nearly at 14 years, he teaches his 6 year old sister and is talking about The Chosen to his high school pals in the UK. “That’s how I think I spread the gospel, mum!!’ He says.
We as a family, watched Episode1 of Season 4 and cried so much..
My 6 year old loves the shorts showing the on-screen memorizing of Psalm 115:1,2, .. she memorized along with you guys, instantaneously!!

Absolutely great to hear from Shahar and Paras about their process as actors. I think people misunderstand how much work goes into portraying a character. It is more than just lines, accents, and costumes. The best actors hone their craft and give 100%
My tears just flow with the freedom that comes from forgiving others and yourself. Beautiful full story with Jesus speaking to Matthew and Peter as we now have the Spirit to counsel us.

Rewatching it and... wow, Jonathan does a wonderful job as Jesus. Very impressive!
I did not expect to cry, but Lord have mercy this one hit me hard. All the bad blood was gone after Peter forgave Matthew. It was a weight lifted honestly.
Also… is it me or does it seem like the Shahar Isaac is portraying himself as Simon now Peter. Beautiful work from him and all the actors.
Beautifully played Matthew and Peter forgiving moment. It opened my heart fully.
The last part has brought me into tears. That's the most beautiful part of this episode. Wow!
That last scene got me teary eyed. Forgiveness is hard for us human beings. Especially when we have held a grudge and been bitter against someone for so long. But it is an absolutely necessary part of the Christian life.
God forgave us of a multitude of sins and took us in as sons and daughters. So we should follow in His footsteps and forgive also. As hard as it is. The more we stay connected with Him the more easy it will be to forgive freely.
We are so enjoying season 4 . Forgiveness is a gift given to the other person who has apologized for hurting you, it's their repentance.
So many lessons even thought read before, come to life again.
I love THE CHOSEN. You have made the scriptures come alive and brought more understanding of who the people were.
Most awesome scene was in Caesarea Philippi the place where Jesus gave the disciples all authority over all darkness. I was there and my Pastor told us that scripture and it was one of the most powerful moment for me in Israel.

The moment Matthew realizes that he was in the wrong and how he humbled himself to "straightway" apologize to Simon Peter was HUGE! To ask for the forgiveness took it up a whole other level. I saw a foreshadowing of The Holy Spirit as Jesus turned around and gave Matthew the look indicating that it was a good time to ask. ❤❤❤ When Peter forgave him was a very rewarding pay off. Well done writers. Excellent acting, Paras, Shahar and Jonathan (being the glue to being it all together)!!

Another emotional episode for me. I am learning so much from the Chosen for personal reasons and historically.
Forgiveness is so hard. I have to forgive my husband who has done nothing worse than I have. Forgiveness is not about who was hurt worse than the other.
So awesome. To understand the emotions Christ felt as a man brings the gospel to life for me.

1:24:26 This is when Peter exemplified the qualities as "the rock" Jesus wanted to build his Church upon. Peter's going through an identity crisis as the Christ gave him a new name; feeling proud, confused, angry, but he goes through an emotional hell to forgive Matthew after realizing his own mistakes in their inter discipleship relationship.

I dont pretend to know your background friend but your highlighting of Peters mistakes continues all throughout the new testament...so in reality Peters elevation as the small rock(greek) Matt 16:18 is appropriate as it is symbolic of the true "rock" who is our Lord(NOTE Thaddeus' words 102:14...
There are numerous texts and cross references throughout both testaments that refer to this..When Peter asked the first Gentile(Roman) convert Cornelius to NOT BOW down to him as he was only a man(Acts 10) is certainly not corrolated with what happens or what i have seen in our day in how mere men in the Church are elevated inappropriately.
This series is so beautifully shot and designed. These aesthetics support the way the story is chosen which is like madras. It is lovely to see these stories fleshed out.

I am not on "social media" so i can't be a top fan..... BUT I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH!!!! TY, TY, TY, TY!!!!!!!
Everyone focuses on the disciples but l personally love the coverage of Pharisees coming around to Christ. Having memorized the scriptures, l can only imagine how profound realizing Jesus was the messiah was for those ended up believing. I mean just look at Paul.
The Chosen is so beautifully done that it has helped me understand the Bible even more but more importantly I enjoy what you said about this show is not enhancing the Bible in any way but a study of the Bible. These days I have become sick of corporations pandering to the audience and pushing their own agendas by skewing, adding/removing parts, manipulating stories just to be accepted (or hated) by people. But not The Chosen, this shows follows the Bible for what it is without trying to please any person's opinions or type of believer, etc. It's done so very well that I hope it leads many people to the Bible and to Jesus.
I am so excited to finally get to see season 4. I have been waited so long for it to come out.

Every time I watch The Chosen series, it always gives me goosebumps like I really am in that time and that Jesus is really talking to me. Seeing that forgiveness scene with Peter and Matthew made me cry. We should not lean on our own understanding instead let's seek God, ask for His mercy and compassion and pray for guidance to do what is right. Thank you for the team and production for giving such a beautiful series to the people. 🥹🙏

Forgiveness is a gift. Not only to the other person, but to yourself. These days, when I forgive somebody, I don't do it for them. I do it for my own wellbeing. If I don't forgive, I end up harboring hatred or some other thing against another. I just can't do that anymore. Also: Forgiving oneself for the things done in life is probably the most difficult.
Forgiveness allows you to break that which ties you to that other person . It frees you without letting that other person off the hook as it were . Failing to forgive puts that person in prison and you are the prison warden . This means you are both in prison together . This has been taught to me and it was shown at the cross when Jesus forgave his killers .
It's true that Simon could never forgive Matthew. But Peter could
Simon was reborn as Peter ;similar to Saul becoming Paul. I think the significance of the name change helps them remember the rebirth of a change of consciousness.
