In his twisted bio, it says that he feels a heavy amount of guilt and that he takes it out on others, but why does he have that much guilt? Well if you go into the shop and click on astro, one of the requirements is to encounter twisted dandy. I think that this is a hint to what actually happened to astro, he witnessed dandy in his twisted form, and was too scared of what dandy might do to him to tell the others about it. That's why he has so much guilt looming over him, because he knew about dandy's plan and couldn't stop him. This theory makes more sense when you realize that by buying astro in the shop, you are quite literally turning into astro. By witnessing twisted dandy, you are putting yourself in the same situation that astro was in, almost turning into him in a way. Last but not least, when you do buy astro, dandy only says "...", which could show the distrust between the two that was happening before everyone got infected. But that's just my personal thoughts, what are yours?
I always imagined that Dandy missed the ‘good old days’ of being the star of the show, which is why he cares about the VHS tapes so much. They’re probably recordings of his show, and he goes so far as to believing that all the tapes are already his property (i.e his line “those tapes were never yours”). And I completely agree/also believe in the Ichor lead comparison theory!
Astro has dialogue with Pebble that suggests that Astro maybe knows about what Dandy was hiding. When Astro asks how Dandy is, Pebble gives a sad whine. Astro then responds with “…I know, buddy.” Along with Dandy giving no reaction when buying Astro from him, makes me believe that Dandy’s either sad/nervous that Astro (and probably Pebble) knows about it. (Also, Twisted Astro’s description reads: “Overwhelmed by guilt and despair” so he must’ve felt bad/guilty about something when this one transformed. Maybe he feels guilt for what happened to Dandy, or blames himself for what happened to everyone.)
Maybe he felt guilty after he knew that dandy was corrupting everyone and couldn't believe and then felt sad after he knew he could've save the other toons i guess?

Due to the kids pictures found around the map, one said “astro you should smile more”. That’s where my theory starts. Vee and Dandy were probably the ones who made Astro sad. Due to Vee and Dandy being the main characters in most posters, astro only gets 2. Astro may be sad because when he started to get on stage, less people watched and more people watched Vee and Dandy. Dandy then started comforting Astro to make Vee more jealous. Astro got even more sad because the rest of his friends were being turned into toon-hungry ichor monsters. Astro gives people dreams so they won’t have to think about nightmares, or Twisteds, ever again. One interaction with Boxten said “Boxten, how have those dreams been treating you...?" "You mean the nightmares?" "No... I believe I remember giving you only good dreams." Someone must’ve corrupted Astro’s ability to give people dreams, instead of giving Boxten a dream, it gave him a nightmare. *My fingers are tired*
I have a theory that Vee’s twisted form is Vee on her own accord, voluntarily becoming evil. The fact her regular self is on her pop ups and that she looks the most like her original self/her lack of ichor compared to some of the other twisteds is what sells the idea to me. Maybe she made a deal with Twisted Dandy?
my personal theory is that Dandy actually shows some form of regret or knowing he’s gone too far he knows it’s too late to back out and he should’ve backed out before he fell into this hole when you don’t buy from him at least 3 to 4 times sometimes he’ll just stop talking this shows that he likely knows that you’re on to him and he wants to get rid of you if you’re not going to handover the tapes to confirm this he’ll sometimes just say “. . .” and when he leaves it’s just “. . .”
So, me and my friends came up with a theory about the twisteds. What if it wasn’t the Ichor that transformed them, but their own emotions? We see that Goob is all happy and sunny in his toon form, but as soon as we see the Twisted Goob, he looks all sad and gloomy. Now, it’s probably weird, but me and my friend had thought that Razzle and Dazzle had tied themselves down out of guilt. They were probably scared to hurt everyone, so they have purposefully locked themselves down to avoid hurting the other toons. That’s probably why he has a safety circle. Toodles is a rabid dog, we both confirmed.
Lore 1: there’s blocks that say help in dandy’s store in lobby Lore 2: Rodger got infected by ichor go to buy ichor at the end he drowns in ichor Lore 3:goob got infected by his sister he has black tears cuz the last thing he do before getting infected was crying.
I genuinely think that Astro was very much an introvert, and Dandy was more of the extrovert. Dandy always knew what Astro wanted, and helped him like ‘friends’. But Astro started feeling this dread from Dandy. Like something was wrong. I honestly think he was the last of the cast to be overcome by Ichor and witnessed it all, with Dandy smiling and Astro slowly turning and crying in despair and betrayal. Don’t know, it’s the vibes I get 🤷♀️
i have a sad theory omg you said astro was crying in his twisted form right? someone else that was crying is goob… I think goob was also one of the last ones, and scraps, if you don’t know, Scraps is goob’s older sister who protects him and are best friends, meaning that Goob is young. the next person to get twisted was Scraps and Goob witnessed her older sister get twisted and thats why we see him crying. 😭😭 and he either got twisted same time or right after scraps, or he got twisted after scraps.

and im assuming after getting the tapes dandy wants, he lets you die, which would explain why theres no real 'end' other than death. thatd also explain why you respawn in the lobby as if nothing happened
Y'know, I do like to think why he also wants his toon friends to get ichor. Ever notice how whenever a toon dies, they burst into a black liquid...I do believe that, even if you die, Dandy still isn't satisfied with the tapes you got and uses the ichor he has to create even more of his toon friends to do the dirty work for him.
I think dandy uses the ichor extracted because in the video where someone finds a person playing as dandy, his quote for finishing a machine is “Just as intended!”
I’ve been looking for the lore. Dandy can turn into a twisted and back to normal whenever he wants to. Whenever you don’t give dandy his tapes there’s a chance for him to say, “those tapes don’t even belong to you”. If you get dandy’s shop in the elevator after escaping his twisted he’ll say this, “let’s not have that happen again” (there might be other lines). The toons are made out of ichor (when they explode ichor particles show up). Dandy is 100% evil and is the main antagonist (if it wasn’t obvious enough from the things I’ve said) (this is also probably why he’ll never be playable for players other than devs). In the sinkhole event in flavor frenzy, you can spot a dark dandy in the cave (The universes are connected).
Have you noticed the "Toon handlers"? Every Toon has a handler (who are humans) that seems to have a similar personality and looks. I don't know what that might be or mean, but perhaps you can think about talking about it in another video? There are many posters of a toon next to their handler.. I don't quite recall on which map.
I’m pretty sure its just so if Somone had a lobby full of different characters of different types of toons and no same twisted rule as toons was there then there would be no twisteds other then dandy and ruins the whole game
There’s some new bits of lore in the new update (particularly a document in one of the new rainbow maps), but I really hope the story really is just “Dandy is the Onceler and everyone else suffers through his capitalist greed”. There’s implications that the toons are like, experiments gone wrong or whatever, and that’s just really boring.
I like to think the twisted facial expressions are their last preserved expressions before getting infected, like astros displaying guilt, Vee's potraying anger, and more! It could just be nothing, but I think it is cool to think of it that way, lol.
This all makes so much sense, Mainly due to before dandy is a twisted he says something about ''Those tapes will be mine'' or atleast in my experience when ive gotten him

Another easter egg is when you go back to the ol' subway it plays dandys world music. I think this was the past since in dandys world theres a subway. Dandy mightve repaired the subway and built everything.
very good theory, i like how it can almost perfectly fit in the Game and how is not like another generic "dead childs turning into corrupted kids cartoon characters ohhh" but i thing You missed some important points like the role of arthur Walton and Delilah keen in all of this or why there can be an toon and it's twisted version in the same floor or why garden view looks like got abandoned for an "accident", or even why there are that machines in an kids place in first time, just wanted to leave that in the air
I always just assumed that Ichor was a type of oil that was very valuable and infectious that Dandy sent his friends down to extract them to make profit. Also a line from Boxten was “I’m just glad nothing exploded.” So I just thought if you mess up your skill check SO HORRIBLY the extractor explodes and infects the toon working on it. Although I think your theory is more solid with proof and actually makes sense.
So he corrupted the toons, then sent the others on a mission to fix them? That wouldn’t make sense unless Dandy’s only motive from the start was to retrieve the tapes.
Like I said in the video, Dandy became greedy and took advantage of the toons. After corruption, Dandy sent down the toons who WEREN'T infected down to "extract the ichor to save the other toons", however, Dandy's ulterior motive was for them to get the tapes. He never actually cared for the twisteds to be saved.
Is it just me or does anyone else also think that vees adds have lore in them? Like it looks like somethings covered in some of the adds and im pretty sure it’s dandy.
Oh I just thought of a possible theory that connects with this: Maybe the Tapes have some kind of special property that can prevent or even revert the excess Ichor in a safe way? The machines you extract don’t really seem to do anything to help with the Twisteds, but I assume that it’s the main way that the Toons/Toon Handlers would get Ichor to create the Toons.
However i think astro KNOWS about dandy's twisted form, because of how its one of the requirements to buy astro (encounter twisted dandy) Which means Astro might've been the one that dandy trusted the most on the point that dandy even showed (or astro accidentally saw) his twisted form, maybe the reason why when you buy astro he just says "..." like something regretful or worried
on Astros little description when you get 50 research on him it says "overwhelmed by guilt and despair" somewhere in there, maybe Astro helped Dandy, either unknowingly, or he knew yet had trusted Dandy enough to do it anyway. Just a theory I thought of..
ii just thought it would be interesting to add that in the new update, teagan has an interaction with astro where she says "are you still talking to him?" and astro says "yes.. but not as much as i used to.". this could imply a lot of things but ill let you guys figure it out!
Btw if you look at the rules you can see that it seems like toons were treated like animals in a zoo, so i think is that the workers killed the rebel toons that tried to escape and make new versions of em, then dandy finds em then tries uses ichor to turn em into twitsteds, but his power corrupts and he starts having outher toons to turn into a twisted by going into the floors to get the ichor…. I think that a special amount of tapes can unlock a unique scene, and the scene shows the process of dandy turning a toon into a twisted. You see the most expensive thing Dandy can offer is the Smoke Bomb, costing 150 tapes. Probably 300 or 400 tapes should be enough to be able to watch a "scene", which is the secret that Dandy hides. - Dandy always comes from underground, so his twisted lab is there. - There is another elevator on the floor, probably its where the twisteds are coming from, and only Dandy has the power to open it. - Every time you get into the elevator, instantly the floor changes, meaning that the twisteds are on the elevator waiting for the door to open, and Dandy can open it using the same lever that is in his elevator's shop. - Why is Twisted Dandy lethal and not a main? Because he turned himself into a advanced and stronghest twisted, allowing him to instantly kill someone. Ok this is all i can say, the game will reveal more things soon. But i never understood how could Vee turn into a Twisted, she cannot eat nothing, and why Twisted Astro have 4 arms
the first two notes are INCREDIBLY accurate, in the flavor frenzy sinkhole you can find dandy which supports there being dandy underground and also because the sinkhole is covered in “DO NOT ENTER” tapes similarly to how the fake elevator has the same type of tapes meaning that dandy is probably using and hiding things in that fake elevator
I have a short theory, what if the toons are also made out of ichor? That they only become twisted WHEN they get overfilled with ichor? The only reason I have about this is that when we 'die' or get attacked, we spill a bit of ichor. I don't think it's a bendy and the ink machine thing, but it's possible.
I'm probably talking something obvious for long time players, but I need to talk ;w; Well, I am a begginner at the game, haven't played it much, but some things that keep bugging me. The place is a daycare. Ok, there is... A lot of proof of that. On the lobby, there are a lot of posters, including one surrounding rules for the children. I started reading, thinking the "No cameras around Astro" was kind of cute, since that indicated the higher ups knew about Astro's fear and possibly cared for him, but what caught my attention was "No water near Vee". That indicates Vee is the only robot, or at least partial robot of the bunch. That means either all of them are organic, or are made of Ichor as the video has said... And that Ichor is non soluble in water, since the warning is solely for Vee, not everyone. Considering it's a daycare, and the entrance to it... Is a train - that is still working - I can't help but wonder if the place is under maintenance due to the Ichor issues. There are no humans, children or adults, the place doesn't look completely abandoned, it's almost tidy considering the twisteds are around! Maybe the brute ichor spewing around is dangerous for other beings, and the toons are the ones better suited to try and fix things...
btw, in the daycare map where one elevator is near very small room, there is a magazine in that room, and it names CEO of dandys world company or so, hope u see my comment!
I have a theory: Dandy's world is connected to flavor frenzy. In the summer update, for a brief moment dandy is on a rock and jumps off. In Skate n Dine, theres the dandy game. I think dandy from his fame lured the bears to put flan in the old subway when they locked it. Since he has a game, his fame definitely wouldve lured the bears. But it backfires when dandy gets them out and somehow gets trapped inside. Thats why we can we him on the rock. But hey thats just a theory!

Think about it. If dandy wasnt always evil, then what if the ichor in him or his twisted side slowly became stronger over time? There no more dialougues and stuff related to that... but maybe his twisted side is slowly gonna completely control him? Alright here a theory. I believe the faces the twisteds have are the faces they had before they turned, this makes sense because twisted astro looks like hes crying and if this is real then we can make out a order of who got infected first. Goob is also crying hinting toward scraps infecting goob since whenever scraps give up she grabs her head and shakes it like shes going insane which is why scraps has a smile on her face. Twisted Shelly also probably went insane from her existance being ignored. Don't ask me about boxten or Toodles Anyway thats my theory.

I have an idea that the toons are actually made from ichor to be living mascots since you when you die you turn into it but also that on one of the posters a set of rules and most of them are about the toons but the one caught my eye the most was to follow the toon handlers which means that their people who have to handle the toons and yeah i could be overreacting cause we do have mascot handlers in the real world but in game we never see any Costumes of the mascots and plus in the drawings the toons and kids are the same size I tell all yall more of my theory later maybe when I get like more than 5 likes

I have a theory too, kinda like the opposite of urs, but here I go... So, what if they need to have Ichor to keep their sanity. It could Explain why the twisteds are covered in Ichor, bc they lost enough Ichor to become twisted. But nobody knows that dandy needs Ichor, so maybe the tapes have Ichor inside them. And the machines help others get more Ichor, meaning that Dandy opens the elevator door when you complete the machines, and If dandy runs outta Ichor from the tapes, he becomes twisted too.

I rewatched this a few minutes later so I forgot if this was part of it but I think mainly why Dandy pretty much took Astro away from Vee was because he knew she was onto him and he didn’t want Astro to know since he could easily tell the others.

I had my own more.lore where dandy is a God but a selfish God that was bored so dandy, disguised himself as a human and made a cartoon and he had all of his followers make his cartoon, but all the followers got bored so dandy took his unfaithful followers or better known as animators so dandy transformed them into the cartoons and lock them internal death to cure his boredom but now that I think about it, just hear me out the map right it looks exactly like an office of animators there’s a parking lot. There’s an office and the reason why all the boards are placed on exits so they cannot leave the internal prison so they forced to endure the hell that dandy put them all through, but the reason why the masked one is holding her knees together and crying is because she is aware and knows that there is no escape and the reason why the twisted it’s because dandy tortured them and gave them little bit of his blood, but the person that was close to him was given more blood The reason why we collected is because dandy needs his blood to make more twisted for each floor just hear me out but now let her know kind of stupid

Hi, all main characters like Shelly, Vee, Astro, Pebble and Sprout have a black heart. It's either for lore purposes or since they have an passive and a active ability. They wanna balance it out by removing an heart for them.

I have a theory that Vee’s twisted form is Vee on her own accord, voluntarily becoming evil. The fact her regular self is on her pop ups and that she looks the most like her original self/her lack of ichor compared to some of the other twisteds is what sells the idea to me. Maybe she made a deal with Twisted Dandy?

my personal theory is that Dandy actually shows some form of regret or knowing he’s gone too far he knows it’s too late to back out and he should’ve backed out before he fell into this hole when you don’t buy from him at least 3 to 4 times sometimes he’ll just stop talking this shows that he likely knows that you’re on to him and he wants to get rid of you if you’re not going to handover the tapes to confirm this he’ll sometimes just say “. . .” and when he leaves it’s just “. . .”

So, me and my friends came up with a theory about the twisteds.
What if it wasn’t the Ichor that transformed them, but their own emotions? We see that Goob is all happy and sunny in his toon form, but as soon as we see the Twisted Goob, he looks all sad and gloomy.
Now, it’s probably weird, but me and my friend had thought that Razzle and Dazzle had tied themselves down out of guilt. They were probably scared to hurt everyone, so they have purposefully locked themselves down to avoid hurting the other toons. That’s probably why he has a safety circle.

I genuinely think that Astro was very much an introvert, and Dandy was more of the extrovert. Dandy always knew what Astro wanted, and helped him like ‘friends’. But Astro started feeling this dread from Dandy. Like something was wrong. I honestly think he was the last of the cast to be overcome by Ichor and witnessed it all, with Dandy smiling and Astro slowly turning and crying in despair and betrayal. Don’t know, it’s the vibes I get 🤷♀️

I think goob was also one of the last ones, and scraps, if you don’t know, Scraps is goob’s older sister who protects him and are best friends, meaning that Goob is young. the next person to get twisted was Scraps and Goob witnessed her older sister get twisted and thats why we see him crying. 😭😭 and he either got twisted same time or right after scraps, or he got twisted after scraps.

Y'know, I do like to think why he also wants his toon friends to get ichor. Ever notice how whenever a toon dies, they burst into a black liquid...I do believe that, even if you die, Dandy still isn't satisfied with the tapes you got and uses the ichor he has to create even more of his toon friends to do the dirty work for him.
I think dandy uses the ichor extracted because in the video where someone finds a person playing as dandy, his quote for finishing a machine is “Just as intended!”

Dandy can turn into a twisted and back to normal whenever he wants to.
Whenever you don’t give dandy his tapes there’s a chance for him to say, “those tapes don’t even belong to you”.
If you get dandy’s shop in the elevator after escaping his twisted he’ll say this, “let’s not have that happen again” (there might be other lines).
The toons are made out of ichor (when they explode ichor particles show up).
Dandy is 100% evil and is the main antagonist (if it wasn’t obvious enough from the things I’ve said) (this is also probably why he’ll never be playable for players other than devs).
In the sinkhole event in flavor frenzy, you can spot a dark dandy in the cave (The universes are connected).
He also said something along the lines of "let's pretend that never happened". Somethig like that, i dont rlly remember

Have you noticed the "Toon handlers"? Every Toon has a handler (who are humans) that seems to have a similar personality and looks. I don't know what that might be or mean, but perhaps you can think about talking about it in another video? There are many posters of a toon next to their handler.. I don't quite recall on which map.

There’s some new bits of lore in the new update (particularly a document in one of the new rainbow maps), but I really hope the story really is just “Dandy is the Onceler and everyone else suffers through his capitalist greed”. There’s implications that the toons are like, experiments gone wrong or whatever, and that’s just really boring.

I like to think the twisted facial expressions are their last preserved expressions before getting infected, like astros displaying guilt, Vee's potraying anger, and more! It could just be nothing, but I think it is cool to think of it that way, lol.

very good theory, i like how it can almost perfectly fit in the Game and how is not like another generic "dead childs turning into corrupted kids cartoon characters ohhh" but i thing You missed some important points like the role of arthur Walton and Delilah keen in all of this or why there can be an toon and it's twisted version in the same floor or why garden view looks like got abandoned for an "accident", or even why there are that machines in an kids place in first time, just wanted to leave that in the air
I always just assumed that Ichor was a type of oil that was very valuable and infectious that Dandy sent his friends down to extract them to make profit. Also a line from Boxten was “I’m just glad nothing exploded.” So I just thought if you mess up your skill check SO HORRIBLY the extractor explodes and infects the toon working on it. Although I think your theory is more solid with proof and actually makes sense.

So he corrupted the toons, then sent the others on a mission to fix them? That wouldn’t make sense unless Dandy’s only motive from the start was to retrieve the tapes.
Like I said in the video, Dandy became greedy and took advantage of the toons. After corruption, Dandy sent down the toons who WEREN'T infected down to "extract the ichor to save the other toons", however, Dandy's ulterior motive was for them to get the tapes. He never actually cared for the twisteds to be saved.

Oh I just thought of a possible theory that connects with this:
Maybe the Tapes have some kind of special property that can prevent or even revert the excess Ichor in a safe way? The machines you extract don’t really seem to do anything to help with the Twisteds, but I assume that it’s the main way that the Toons/Toon Handlers would get Ichor to create the Toons.
However i think astro KNOWS about dandy's twisted form, because of how its one of the requirements to buy astro (encounter twisted dandy)
Which means Astro might've been the one that dandy trusted the most on the point that dandy even showed (or astro accidentally saw) his twisted form, maybe the reason why when you buy astro he just says "..." like something regretful or worried
on Astros little description when you get 50 research on him it says "overwhelmed by guilt and despair" somewhere in there, maybe Astro helped Dandy, either unknowingly, or he knew yet had trusted Dandy enough to do it anyway. Just a theory I thought of..

Btw if you look at the rules you can see that it seems like toons were treated like animals in a zoo, so i think is that the workers killed the rebel toons that tried to escape and make new versions of em, then dandy finds em then tries uses ichor to turn em into twitsteds, but his power corrupts and he starts having outher toons to turn into a twisted by going into the floors to get the ichor…. I think that a special amount of tapes can unlock a unique scene, and the scene shows the process of dandy turning a toon into a twisted. You see the most expensive thing Dandy can offer is the Smoke Bomb, costing 150 tapes. Probably 300 or 400 tapes should be enough to be able to watch a "scene", which is the secret that Dandy hides.
- Dandy always comes from underground, so his twisted lab is there.
- There is another elevator on the floor, probably its where the twisteds are coming from, and only Dandy has the power to open it.
- Every time you get into the elevator, instantly the floor changes, meaning that the twisteds are on the elevator waiting for the door to open, and Dandy can open it using the same lever that is in his elevator's shop.
- Why is Twisted Dandy lethal and not a main? Because he turned himself into a advanced and stronghest twisted, allowing him to instantly kill someone.
Ok this is all i can say, the game will reveal more things soon.
But i never understood how could Vee turn into a Twisted, she cannot eat nothing, and why Twisted Astro have 4 arms
the first two notes are INCREDIBLY accurate, in the flavor frenzy sinkhole you can find dandy which supports there being dandy underground and also because the sinkhole is covered in “DO NOT ENTER” tapes similarly to how the fake elevator has the same type of tapes meaning that dandy is probably using and hiding things in that fake elevator
I have a short theory, what if the toons are also made out of ichor? That they only become twisted WHEN they get overfilled with ichor? The only reason I have about this is that when we 'die' or get attacked, we spill a bit of ichor. I don't think it's a bendy and the ink machine thing, but it's possible.

Well, I am a begginner at the game, haven't played it much, but some things that keep bugging me.
The place is a daycare. Ok, there is... A lot of proof of that. On the lobby, there are a lot of posters, including one surrounding rules for the children. I started reading, thinking the "No cameras around Astro" was kind of cute, since that indicated the higher ups knew about Astro's fear and possibly cared for him, but what caught my attention was "No water near Vee". That indicates Vee is the only robot, or at least partial robot of the bunch. That means either all of them are organic, or are made of Ichor as the video has said... And that Ichor is non soluble in water, since the warning is solely for Vee, not everyone.
Considering it's a daycare, and the entrance to it... Is a train - that is still working - I can't help but wonder if the place is under maintenance due to the Ichor issues. There are no humans, children or adults, the place doesn't look completely abandoned, it's almost tidy considering the twisteds are around! Maybe the brute ichor spewing around is dangerous for other beings, and the toons are the ones better suited to try and fix things...

I have a theory: Dandy's world is connected to flavor frenzy. In the summer update, for a brief moment dandy is on a rock and jumps off. In Skate n Dine, theres the dandy game. I think dandy from his fame lured the bears to put flan in the old subway when they locked it. Since he has a game, his fame definitely wouldve lured the bears. But it backfires when dandy gets them out and somehow gets trapped inside. Thats why we can we him on the rock. But hey thats just a theory!

Alright here a theory. I believe the faces the twisteds have are the faces they had before they turned, this makes sense because twisted astro looks like hes crying and if this is real then we can make out a order of who got infected first. Goob is also crying hinting toward scraps infecting goob since whenever scraps give up she grabs her head and shakes it like shes going insane which is why scraps has a smile on her face. Twisted Shelly also probably went insane from her existance being ignored. Don't ask me about boxten or Toodles

I have an idea that the toons are actually made from ichor to be living mascots since you when you die you turn into it but also that on one of the posters a set of rules and most of them are about the toons but the one caught my eye the most was to follow the toon handlers which means that their people who have to handle the toons and yeah i could be overreacting cause we do have mascot handlers in the real world but in game we never see any Costumes of the mascots and plus in the drawings the toons and kids are the same size

So, what if they need to have Ichor to keep their sanity. It could Explain why the twisteds are covered in Ichor, bc they lost enough Ichor to become twisted. But nobody knows that dandy needs Ichor, so maybe the tapes have Ichor inside them. And the machines help others get more Ichor, meaning that Dandy opens the elevator door when you complete the machines, and If dandy runs outta Ichor from the tapes, he becomes twisted too.

I rewatched this a few minutes later so I forgot if this was part of it but I think mainly why Dandy pretty much took Astro away from Vee was because he knew she was onto him and he didn’t want Astro to know since he could easily tell the others.
I hate to be a stick in the mud but I don't think Dandy went to the Ichor willingly or manipulated other toons, I think his handler had something to do with it, there are several business lore notes scattered through out maps, dispite none of the speakers getting names I think Dandy's handler might be one of em', and the theirs the fact that in his picture Dandy's handler looks out right like he's hiding something.
So I don't really think Dandy was just like HEY I WANNA BE A GOD! I think he got manipulated by is Handler, and the the Ichor screwed with his mind

I had my own more.lore where dandy is a God but a selfish God that was bored so dandy, disguised himself as a human and made a cartoon and he had all of his followers make his cartoon, but all the followers got bored so dandy took his unfaithful followers or better known as animators so dandy transformed them into the cartoons and lock them internal death to cure his boredom but now that I think about it, just hear me out the map right it looks exactly like an office of animators there’s a parking lot. There’s an office and the reason why all the boards are placed on exits so they cannot leave the internal prison so they forced to endure the hell that dandy put them all through, but the reason why the masked one is holding her knees together and crying is because she is aware and knows that there is no escape and the reason why the twisted it’s because dandy tortured them and gave them little bit of his blood, but the person that was close to him was given more blood The reason why we collected is because dandy needs his blood to make more twisted for each floor just hear me out but now let her know kind of stupid

Hi, all main characters like Shelly, Vee, Astro, Pebble and Sprout have a black heart. It's either for lore purposes or since they have an passive and a active ability. They wanna balance it out by removing an heart for them.
