Great, fun story. I love the sense of humor in these stories. You should have one labeled “entropy: Learning to laugh at the chaos. A Human perspective
These HFY stories usually aren't this funny, at least not intentionally so. I lost it at 'their calculations stated that the universe was actually a banana'.
Theoretical mathematics? The only distinction I know is the one between pure and applied math, even that's getting blurred. Listening more, it should be theoretical physics. Also, there are 2 big black holes (i.e. unsolvable) at the heart of mathematics: decidability and axiomatic completeness.
Ever been there? For more than three hundred days a year a weatherman can say “it will be clear and hot today” and be correct. The rest of the time the state gets its twelve inches of rain per year in three storms. Predicting exactly when those storms will hit is the trick. It’s best to watch the birds and animals. When they look for cover, it’s about to get very windy and wet.

Ever see a Monsoon Season storm roll in? Taking out the roads and bridges that allow you to get to and from home. You get a 50 gallon drum of water on top of you in 30 minutes.
The arrogance of Academia is infamous. While I love the story and the format/style, entrenched academics accepting theories not their own or challenges their personnel/pet theories stretches the suspension of disbelief. 😆

I like the funny ones where we just show up do something odd and win. 😂
Sarah Chen
Strikes again
So... she basically said "hold my coffee" and I count it as a part of that. 😂
I've read atleast a hundred of these stories. This one is very well written
Sarah Chen is a really well traveled student.
She seems to be everywhere.
She and Elana Rodriguez.
And coffee. Don't forget the coffee.
Great story! Would so love a book series! 🥰🤍
This story made me smile because it is more true than we care to admit.
I'm at 16:30 and I just felt the dread of a Rick roll warning in the back of my mind

I'd be disappointed if they weren't in these stories tbh. They're like personal friends at this point 😂😂
You do know, don't you, that the coffee at the end was delivered by Dave?
"solved it in 3 hours. than cried for 2 days" :)

10/10😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
This was a really enjoyable story. Who wrote it?
Myself 😊
I think I have ascended into a fast reality. These stories sound much better to me @ 1.25 Playback speed LOL
Only 1.25x?
Where did Sarah Chen come from.?.?.? Understand she's Terran, but what is her origin.?.?.?
Chennigan... The small astroid full of Chenns, that is following earth in it's blind spot. Every time a Chenn would die, they would replace her.
Is that from a book i could buy?
That Sarah Chen sure gets around.
man i love these stories but all i get is that the aliens are weaker than new born babes.
Sarah Chen, AGAIN!

WHY are all the male aliens wearing human business suits? With ties? I cry foul.

Once again, the Chen fungus has sprung up. It is like an oil slick on a pond.
So in Arizona the solution would be weather guessing ? .......just saying......
