Tactical Answer: Vamp had nanomachines in his body, so he could easily get out of the by-product-like high oxygenated water because his nanomachines healed him when he falls on the pool of oxygenated water.
That line was so stupid in MGS2, she could have suicide in easier way. Sure patriots had put something in her to make her avoid every eletronic shit, but come on. A suicidal girl could have just jump from a building or just die in water or else. Stupid.
1-------------------2!!------------------------3!!!--------------------------------4!!!!--------------------------5!!!!! Look, your Favorite, EXPLOSIVES!!!!!
This song I will never forget. No matter who much time passes, no matter how any years of memories I have, this will remain to be my favorite song in a video game ever,
JarodJesus (Spoilers) Solidus Snake was George Sears, the former president of the USA, until the Patriots relieved him of his duties. He then went underground and found Dead Cell. He took them in and assisted them as a new leader to take over the Big Shell. This was all staged by the Patriots, of course. But no, he was not a member of Dead Cell. He was, though, the _last_ thing in the way of the Patriot's control over the world.
JarodJesus (Spoilers) So in other words, the player (As Raiden) is the Patriot's puppet, playing right into their hands and helping enslave humanity! ^_^
This sounds exactly like the song "Creatures" by Amon Tobin, and other songs by him. Give him a listen if you enjoy this. He's also made a lot of videogame music in addition to his studio albums. He even made music for Splinter Cell!
It's been 20 years and to this day I can't figure out for the life of me why the version of this music from the soundtrack, is DIFFERENT from the one in-game. They do this a lot actually.
I noticed that if you listen carefully, you'll notice that this and the Yell dead cell Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty video uploaded by GoodSirMark (In the side bar) are actually two different versions.
@TheArabianGoogler The 'Patriots' in MGS2 were actually the original members of the Wiseman's Commitee, a group that existed long before the Patriots, which was founded by Zero, SIGINT, EVA, and Para-Medic. Big Boss was also a member of the group, but after Lez Infants Terribles, he left the group and would stand to oppose them.
Ahaha you sir win. I honestly love them both. MGS2 has my favorite ost in the series. Also the zone of enders games. Then again its the same composer. I guess they musta got someone new for 3 and 4 cause it sounds nothing like 2.
Playing this after the first metal gear solid I was like they can’t come close to how good the boss theme is. Soon as I heard that noise at 0:11 then getting that beat drop I was shook. I went back and played this game in the hardest difficulty just to enjoy the boss fights a lil longer
Norihiko Hibino....The ONE and ONLY Composer of this music! All harry gregson williams did, was composing the music for the cut scenes! The stuff we love, while playing the game, was been composed by Norihiko Hibino! Fact, believe it or not!
Was awesome loading up brawl and hearing this start playing at the MGS stage. Oh the memories of beating the hell out of fatman and the other cell members came rushing back. Snake was probably my main character along with lucario
Shit went down when you heard this
jacksepticeye jackspidicy
Favourite theme growin up. Love how raiden has evolved into the bad ass he is today
Yo... Wow!!
A rare sighting of an eye
Da fuq wow
I never once thought I would battle a morbidly obese bomber wearing roller skates.
Weolcome to Metal Gear lol
sergiocast345 Metal Gear Solid 2 is probably one of the tripiest games I've ever played. To this day, I still have trouble wrapping my head around it.
+Aidan Keogh agreed bro i remember getting the collection for it on my ps3 3 years ago after freshman year ended i was hooked playing it all the time during that summer and I understood why my uncle and my cousin used to play this as a kid through to their teens they never played 4 but still having that full experience was like one of the best gaming experiences in my life!!

Wrong song, m8. This is the one that plays on all the Dead Cell member battles. The Harrier II remix was never released. :c
James Robbins Wasn't Solidus like, member of Dead Cell?

I shall always think of the line when this being played "I'LL LET YOU GO OUT IN STYLE!"
all metal gear music is so good
You're tougher than I thought!
- Harrier Attack, mgs2
Hideo and his team really made an interactive movie instead of just another videogame .
It's been 20 years and to this day I can't figure out for the life of me why the version of this music from the soundtrack, is DIFFERENT from the one in-game. They do this a lot actually.
right??? I want that jazzy part so bad
Could be editing from the publisher's part. Or last-minute inspirations before releasing the game, to make it more palatable.
I'm almost sure that this version is exactly the same of the game, it's just buried under sound effects and gameplay
EPIC BEAT THE LIVING TURD OUT OF THE BOSS LEVEL MUSIC -Caddicarus

By far the BEST boss music of MGS
When you find a dollar and the wind carries it away: *It's on.*
This song: *plays*
Man this is the most clear version ive heard so far. Nice
It was always the first song I selected in the game. It really livened the match up.
Play at 1.25 the speed and it will bring back memories from the game. Fatman, The Harrier with Solidus. Wizard with Knives.
The perfect song to go roller skating to.
my favourite theme in mgs series
I dont even think the composer knows the notes of the sax at the beginning. Just played whatever
And it ended up glorious.
I think this is from the substance version, you hear is on every boss fight but I can still hear "Look your favourite.... EXPLOSIVES!"
I'm making this my ring tone...its too good
Durin lol good idea

This pissed me off to no end when I first fought Fatman

They should've used this during the Vamp fight on MGS4.
This is the best music piece ever composed.
OMG! Best theme ever! I hated when I couldn't find the bomb! I was like where is it!? The music was stressing me out! I won though, lol.
I always play this theme when I fight Metal gear ray in MGS 4
memories...good all times

For all Dragon Ball fans, Yell "Dead Cell" is the actual soundtrack for "A Lot of Qi" from Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1.
This is so good holy shit
This song works amazingly as a fight theme in Smash, too.
For some reason....Vamp is the scariest boss for me 😥
