As a person who grew up in the 90s.... Bobby's World was my faaaaavorite Saturday morning cartoon and hearing Howie do the voice brought back so many memories. I introduced it to my 11 yr old son recently and he instantly fell in love with it too. This was a fucking phenomenal episode today boys full of nostalgia for all us old timers.
Once howie turns off the comic, and let’s the real him come out, he gets better. Make it through the first few bits, and he unlocks some life wisdom. He just likes to see how far he can push ya is all. Keep on rocking guys!
@@chriskunce3331 I feel ya dude. Howie doesn’t prepare, so I’m guessing he goes instinctively in to make a joke out of every word. As soon as he got comfortable, and moved passed that you could see Ellis and hawk jive with him. It was rough at the start but the pay off was worth it. Keep on rocking Chris!
At first, Howie wasn't getting Jason's jokes and it made for a funny awkward interaction but then the episode got going and was ultimately an interesting conversation. Like and Describe!
I have been a huge Howie Mandel fan since I watched Bobby's World everyday as a kid, you have motivated me so much today, thank you all 3 of you for being in my life
I look up to pro skaters the most because they are literally falling, breaking bones even and get back up doing what they love or doing what they want to do. And here I am aspiring to be a comic artist getting discouraged cause I can't draw a certain character right after an hour. Thank you Tony for being one of my hero's growing up and still today.
They say it takes 10,000 hours of active practice/learning to be an expert in something. I worry the generation coming of age now is so used to instant gratification and having so much at their fingertips on the phones and internet affect attention span. You just gotta persist and put the hours in and do it over and over and over and over. Perfect practice makes perfect
wow this was a shocker ..great way to mix it up ... i love the change up ....dont get me wrong i love sk8 talk an the stories an amazing guests ..this one i didnt see coming. but i like it great show toney an jason much respect
The best intelligent people on podcasts could not pull off what all three of you did today. You connected as humans from very diverse backgrounds and it was fucking seemless. Well done. More guests from amazingly different backgrounds makes us all understand humanity in its simplest form. We all like talking about things around a camp fire to find a common ground before we die.
Amazing! Love the content always, and this was no exception. Such a great guest with Howie. 🇨🇦 F$&@ yeah ! Hawk and Ellis: you guys play so well off each other. The authenticity, friendship, and comradery is apparent and I love that. Thanks and keep it up!
Great podcast! I have been using kratom for 4 years. I have not drank or took any depression meds since. It has saved my life. It's definitely the lessor of the evils!!
Did ellis and howie wanna duke it out in the beginning just started it and already seem annoyed with eachother hahahah or am I tripping. Ellis so fuckin funny no filter love it
10 minutes in and I'm worried this is so awkward and negative that it's gunna start my day off stressed out. Lol at how that worked out. Edit- it got chiller and happier
...only because it could NOT have been any worse outta the gate! Chris delia stole his Scthick from Howie, that baby talk bullshit that ifind so annoying
its funny sitting here knowing that Ozzy did both, aka, bite the bat head head (on accident) and bit the doves head off in the meeting for some record company people.
howie slide reminds me of like the final boss of one of the games when the kids are calling out tricks in Underground or sum "do a frontside madonna!!...HOWIE SLIDEEEEE!!!!"
I would just want to learn to drop in one time and that would be all I ever would be able to do. I could never imagine thinking u have each one of them moves and one just stuck I would be happy just going up and down so cool guys keep it up.
It takes a lot more than just passion to be successful. Sometimes your chance for success is taken away by uncontrollable events of life. I was passionate about fighter jets. I kept my grades high to ensure I could go to the naval academy to be a fighter pilot. In high school i had to get glasses. You can't be a fighter pilot with corrected vision, so my dream was destroyed. Nothing in life since has felt worth doing. I've just been doing what I have to do and never what I want to do. It makes every day void of purpose and joy. It caused me to spiral into depression and anxiety, brought on suicide attempts and drug addictions. It's hard when you wake up every day with nothing to look forward to. It is an immense effort each day to just exist. Point is, just loving to do something doesn't guarantee you will be successful. Sometimes, you have no say in the matter at all.
You have to really know Howie Mandels comedy to appreciate him. Fucking Ellis is great because his reaction is real and it’s also the reaction Mandel is looking for! That uncomfortable honesty and making the audience feel like they are in really weird place! Fucking great first 15 min!!
Im from mexico and bobbys world was already after broadcaster latin america divisions were created, so it was dubbed to spanish but still was a big hit, very popular at the time.
When world's collide...BOOM! Skating x Comedy. Tony, how awkward are all the meetings you do with "important" people when they want to come to the ramp, knowing they have no business being there? Must be weird sometimes. At least you're used to strangers stare at you while you skate. Lol
Haha - I love how Ellis refuses to tolerate any goofy schtick whatsoever.
The unimpressed foreigner bit is so overdone.
He’s not being serious dude. They’re just riffing on each other.
He is completely unable to pretend that Howie is being funny when he is just failing.
Be used. Then talk to us
Seriously laughed so hard when Jason was not impressed with his senior parkour 🤣
I love that Ellis doesn't put up with Howie's lame jokes. Lol such a real one
their banter is pure gold
their dynamic is... odd
It comedy. Ellis is new. He tried to keep up with him but couldn't
Howie is a strange person and definitely not funny, love how much ellis hates it 😆

You know who would be an awesome guest that the nine club hasn’t had would be Jason Lee! Super stoked on this one!
Jason's already been on the Nine Club and it was a great episode!
This would be amazing
@@dantebazzea782 nine club had Jason Jessee not J Lee
agreed, guy lives in my hometown and owns my local shop i would love to hear him even just mention his businesses here

@@kryptichands968 he’s not, just a reactive person, he just gets nervous and acts like his comic self. Once you get past that, it’s all gravy baby.
Thanks wasn’t digging the beginning but I’ll push thru 👍

I will say after watching the whole thing it turned out to be really good.

Just got my signed poster of the two of you rockin the ramp. Thankyou. Big fan all the way from Melbourne Australia.
Please do more intros like that! Awesome to see some sesh before the show
Kudos to Ellis, you can tell his respect for Tony stopped him from totally roasting this dude
Indoor senior parkour... "So you can walk??" 😂😂
Thanks for the opening skate footage, I hope you guys keep doing that. Great Job & Respect 🤜🏽

Rad! Little Monsters is a classic. Maurice rocks! Sick vert session, the Howie Slide is dope! 🔥
that was a great movie
I read Ozzy's book , he did bite the head off a dove in a meeting with record executives
Gotta get Mark Normand on at some point! he grew up skating and he's a funny fucking guy!
He's gonna be on the nine club
Priceless !!!! Never really enjoyed Mandel in the 80's, but he's seems like an awesome dude.this podcast keeps getting better.

@@clevermissfox amen! I worry too for those same reasons.
"She's my glory hole"
Words I never thought I'd hear from Howie
Ozzy and Sharon have both confirmed the dove head biting during the board meeting though? Could of sworn I've heard them both say it.
wow, what a great conversation! Thanks Wolf, Hawk, and Gizmo! liked and described!
That intro was so good. And I can't believe you landed a Howie, twice really if you count the person lol

The parkour bit was a tough sit through. I was not expecting it to be so in depth. But it was such a great episode
Funniest podcast you've guys done by miles. Different than the normal stuff but still great to see you guys riffing off each other
Is TH-cam shadow banning you guys or something?
WTF is going on?
This show should be WAY bigger than it is
I was waiting for Part 2. That was so brilliant. THANK YOU Gentlemen. Cheers from Toronto

I mean, it's still trading one addiction for another, but kratom does seem to be super useful.
Does Kratom make you physically dependent on it? It has helped your depression too Jason?
i happen to up at 4 in the morning and suddenly a new episode!? score!!!!
i just got home at almost 2 am and was hyped to see this !
I am such a big Jason fan thanks love you more and more everyday!
Holy cow, you outdid yourselves with this episode. Epic conversation, really awesome stuff.
I expected to see a punch come in frame on the right at 16:01 lmfao

Getting Mark Normand on the vert ramp would be legendary!

10 minutes in and I'm worried this is so awkward and negative that it's gunna start my day off stressed out. Lol at how that worked out.

You could FEEL Ellis tighten up as soon as Howie made a small joke about the Australian accent. I'm really glad it took a sharp turn in the feel lol
...only because it could NOT have been any worse outta the gate! Chris delia stole his Scthick from Howie, that baby talk bullshit that ifind so annoying
Hey Tony deserves all the love all the time. General statement.....
Jason not getting that Howie was trolling with the Senior Parkour is the funniest thing I've seen all day!
wow , another epic show , thank you
13 minutes in and I feel like ELLIS wants to beat the shit outta Howie
Shit I was thinking the same thing 😂
@@ComedyByAlan 🤣 ELLIS holds nothing back
After they figured each other out a bit it ended up being a great podcast, so damn good
@@ComedyByAlan yea about 30 minutes in 🤣🤣
I definitely feel the animosity between Howie and Jason 😂
Thank you guys this is pretty powerful
bruh howie "im into extreme sports too ya know, indoor senior parkour" proceeds to sit on a couch with style
Such a great episode. Great job guys and much love ❤️
its funny sitting here knowing that Ozzy did both, aka, bite the bat head head (on accident) and bit the doves head off in the meeting for some record company people.
Man thanks for the inspiration today it felt good to see guys keep it up.
Awkward until howie gets what's garrrn on. great episode... Ellis is a real one.
Cool, Howie is one of the weirdest comedians, I love watching and listening to his comedic genius.
howie slide reminds me of like the final boss of one of the games when the kids are calling out tricks in Underground or sum "do a frontside madonna!!...HOWIE SLIDEEEEE!!!!"
"is there a lot of people in there 50s doing this" bahahaha
Tell Howie thanks for sharing his struggles during covid.
Great episode! I love the 3 of you. Cheers!
Yo Howie does not look 66 wow tripped me out he still looks like hes 38. DEAL OR NO DEAL BABYYYYYY LIVES ON !!!
That skate intro was great! Btw, the Backside Madonna sounds like something else. 😂
The park core bit was actually pretty funny. Howie seems cool.
And Ellis' reaction was priceless lol
They both were just like “what the actual fuck” so you can walk….. wow! 😂😂😂😂
freakn great message of hope an inspiration

Loved it!!! Thanx for another great episode!!!
Ellis is right, the doves story is true! There's even pictures of it...
Will be back shortly to finish the episode. Tony is on the Honeydew!!!
The more i know about Howie the leas i like him. He worked so hard to land his parkor joke that did not hit.

30 minutes in and I'm loving this. Great watch. Was rough at first 😕 but worked itself out. 🙂
The way he ran up & slid on the last clip 😭

No idea who this guy was.. but it was cool to find out he's the voice of Gizmo!
Proper interesting weirdo 🤙
That started off rough but turned into a great enlightening episode.
great intro and episode! great seeing Tony naturally riff jokes with Howie
Jason (wow...) Ellis 🤣
Thats was the best Hawk Vs. Wolf ever.
Can't say I saw this one coming!
Great pod! For the alg!
I'm Australian and I'm only 5 mins in,
But who's this dude!?!
I was waiting for the Jerry Springer bell to go off so Ellis could mop the floor with that dude
Howie had the mind of a skateboarder.
This podcast is fantastic .☝️☝️☝️
I thaught the senior parkour bit was hilarious. Howie saying that work harder and you can be an elon musk is so far removed from reality though lol
The opening skate footage was feckin seeeeeeek boys
Elon musk is also the son of a South African emerald mine owner, had a lil extra help
Is that Tim filming the demo at the beginning?
it is I!
inspiring and hilarious thanks guys
