Stunning, just stunning, thanks for sharing. I made several flights from that beach where the paddle boarders were in your video, as there is plenty of parking in the 2 laybys right by it. Bassenthwaite is far less commercialised than Derwent, Windermere, Buttermere etc, and I love it for that reason :)
Thanks, I agree it's a lot less crowded than the others, I was just driving home and parked just over the bridge and it was a spur of the moment thing. Pleased I did.

But for future, the 2 "laybys" between the main road and the bridge are ideal spots, and you can just walk down to the beach, its only a few yards, and you can get a good, unobstructed view of the lake for flying, without the trees blocking your view :)
