I really love that she doesn’t use squeaky voice but her natural, husky, sort-of deep voice.
Persona was amazing, walking at night was especially sombre now that I am older.
I had seen IU a lot on running man when it first started but never paid much attention. However her acting in My Mister was so good, I skipped sleep the first day I started watching after accumulating all the episodes. Then I started binge watching all her dramas and variety shows. I couldn't understand why people used to criticism her acting.
I hope she gets many more acting roles because shes so good and her screen presence is immense.

Last episode was really a masterpiece. More like a poetry.
This just shows that IU 이지은 씨 is flexible and versatile as an actress. Overall, she is really a total performer and is not afraid to explore things when it comes to acting and also in trying different genres in singing. 좋은 일을 계속 지켜라, 이지은 씨. 너 정말로 나에게 영감을 불어 넣는다. 💜🌸👍😊
I watched the Collector episode of Persona not knowing much about IU as a singer (mostly the really famous songs) and right after watching it I went looking about her work and listened to "Jam Jam" without knowing it had inspired the episode. I could really feel the connection of the episode and the song, it really felt like the character was singing and I could see the side of IU that was showing. Then I watched this and when she said it was actually inspired by the song I was totally shocked! She is as great of an actress as she is a singer and I'm glad that this gave me the opportunity to discover her amazing work!
I can't WAIT MUCH LONGER FOR HER NEW MUSIC. Really loved that story Collector! Jieun nailed it, as always.
Walking at Night is my favorite. Even if it talks about death or suicide, it was also calming for me. That episode also made me nostalgic for some reason. Anyway, IU is a great actress more projects to come and we are all here to support you! ❤️❤️❤️

쉽지 않았을 것 같지만 아이유이기 때문에, 이지은이기 때문에 할 수 있었던 작업이었던 것 같습니다.
데뷔한지 10년, 본인이 뭘 제일 잘 하는지, 어떤 색깔이 제일 잘 어울리는지 지금은 그 누구보다 본인이 더 잘 알것이라 생각합니다. 그러나 거기서 머무는게 아니라 익숙하지 않은 옷도 한번 더 입어보고, 더욱 더 다채로운 모습으로 변화해 가려는 노력과 고심이 보이는 작업이라 더 흥미로웠습니다.
연기자로서의 앞으로의 행보도, 페르소나라는 작품에서 영감을 받은 다음 앨범의 곡도, 응원하며 기다리겠습니다. 사랑합니다 🤗😘

I think singing/acting are very similar, they both exhibit feelings. and the fact that she's a songwriter makes her even more of a threat, as she is highly empathic/expressive. I seriously can't get enough of her. she's truly an artist you'll see once in a lifetime.

The acting was great and the storyline’s were all significantly different but all shared a strong connection to emotion. I need moreeeee IU actingggggggg!!
My favorite would be the third and fourth films. I loved how light hearted the third film was and how the girls unintentionally got revenge on the hickey girl's dad via the forest fire despite their failed attempts. As for the fourth film, I love how this episode was dark & soothing at the same time. This film was probably the best out of 4 (at least for me).
The dialogue-
''Dreams and death, lead to nowhere. They will end up nowhere and eventually be forgotten.'' is probably the saddest reality.
Overall I loved IU's performance in all the 4 films, she was just amazing.I couldn't understand the first two films completely, I mean I just didn't catch what they were trying to convey.
The other 2 films were quite understandable compared to the 1st two films.

Oh wow. I got major chills when she said that her acting in "Collector" was inspired by her song Jam Jam.
The whole time I watched that short, I had that exact song in my mind.
She really conveyed the feeling of that song so well to the camera...
I specifically remember the scene where she stirs the sugar cube into her tea and my mind going straight to the lyric "I need some sugar, I need something fake"
If you haven't watched Persona yet I highly recommend The Collector. It's a great visual representation of that song.
It feels like iu is stretching her acting skills... feels like she is redefining herself...she was always portrayed cute and gentle..but everypersons persona carries another side too...i felt it deeply
Ep1. For me it feels like the weight of every relationship and how it progress and gets harder every time and u need to never loose your will power...it was my least favourite though...truth
Ep2. I really liked collector was shocked to see oh in such a darker shade but was refreshing to see how she performed some one who is free of rules and boundaries and just takes what she wants...it is not so easy to get out of the box she puts u in..
Ep3. I really liked the subtle nuance of humour blendéd with reality...i really liked how she acted as well the co actress was simply superb...i felt the chemistry even if it was too short to even have the time to develop characters.. but the emotions stood out...
Ep4. No words my favourite...

I like kiss burn and walking at night the most :D Im really excited for her next album, I feel like the song she composed that inspired by walking at night would be similar to her "through the night", if that happens we're getting another lullaby :) I have a hard time sleeping at night bc I have a insomnia but since I've listend to IU's through the night I dont know why but it makes me fall asleep faster, her voice is so pleasing to hear my ears have been blessed :D

The walking at night really hit me hard. I really started to wonder if it is real and the fact that we talk with our loved one or deceased people when we are in a dream and are forgotten when we wake up.

i really loved persona, and my favorite episode would probably be either the first one or the third one
Here's my thoughts while watching the 4 stories. This is created for deep thinker people. Because if you are not you will just get confused, be bored and will think that this is a piece of trash. It's actually like a poem that there's a lot of meaning in it. You need to think BEYOND what you can see and pay attention to even small details to understand the writers point of view. Possession/ Obsession(Someone or Something), Relationship(what you sow is what you reap), Revenge(Exhausting, Can burn you), Life-Death(POV Guy: the person alive, Girl: the person who died). This is created for an open interpretation on how you view life. To be honest i don't usually watch this kind of movies it make me use my brain. But i guess that's one of IU's charm she can make you think. This is created with a low budget and for a specific audience. They want to create a master piece about life story common to human. Everyone can relate to at leas one of the 4 stories. One thing is for sure she is becoming a great actress. Making you forget that she is acting. Well i know why she accepted this project and that is to grow as an actress. Definitely acknowledge! Injeong!
