You count moves, throw on alignment, and learn what your Pokemon can and can't take, eventually you start doing it naturally and become good. You gotta start somewhere tho.

They really do not respect Magneton's Zap Cannon! It's amazing being able to see extremely uncommon picks in PvP as not many people know what moves they may have and it gets super satisfying being able to see these uncommon picks beating pokemons they normally do not win against by surprise nukes!

Maybe a triple water starter team? Swampert and Empoleon are pretty much required for the team to have any success against Grass and Electric types, but I can see it being really entertaining imo. As for the third team member, maybe Samurott for Fury Cutter damage, but I'll leave that decision up to you Mr. HomeSlice.

About a year and a half ago I got featured on Zyonik's channel for running a team featuring Dodrio. 99% of the comments were positive, but there was one guy that was absolutely livid that I used Hypno with the team as safe swap. I was like, dude, you try getting a win with this thing lmao
